This study aimed to identify the role of strategic planning on the performance of employees in th... more This study aimed to identify the role of strategic planning on the performance of employees in the General Court and the Court of Appeal in Jeddah. The study was limited to the male employees. It relied on the descriptive analytical approach in order to achieve the objectives of the study by using the questionnaire consisting of)30(items in a population of 549 employees and a study sample of 232 employees. The data was processed statistically using the Statistical Packages for Social Sciences)SPSS(program. Among the most important findings of the study was that it found that there is a statistically significant correlation between strategic planning and employee performance, and there is also a correlation between the dimensions of strategic planning)vision, mission, goals, policies(and the dependent variable)employee performance(. The study recommended the adoption and application of the strategic planning method as a necessary approach in the General Court and the Court of Appeal in Jeddah.
