A Unified Vision:
From Status Quo to Collaborative & Open
Incentivizing Collaborative and Open Research (ICOR) is building a culture that facilitates and rewards open science, which in turn enables collaboration and innovative, reproducible outcomes.
Shifting the Research Lifecycle from RED to GREEN
Building upon existing efforts that challenge the status quo, where the research cycle occurs in closed RED settings, we aim to contribute a roadmap toward open GREEN opportunities.
Scroll up and down to see the cycle change from red to green.
The ORB Project Library, a searchable version of ICOR’s project library launched in 2023, is a community-driven resource cataloging innovative products and services. The library now operates on a robust platform to accommodate, connect, and update a growing number of remarkable initiatives.
ICOR is committed to gathering evidence and recording best practices from real-world implementations. A unified approach is needed to design research initiatives that track and measure the impact of early sharing and communication. Research-on-research provides foundational metadata and analyses required for stakeholders to make more informed, evidence-based decisions in funding and conducting research.
