8 hours, 37 minutes - Zero Parades: For Dead Spies is an espionage RPG that follows the playbook of ZA/UM Studio’s previous game, Disco Elysium, incredibly closely. It’s another high-concept, combatless, dialogue-driven game about following threads and investigating leads. But capturing lightning twice is no easy feat, and simply repeating Disco Elysium’s triumphs is no guaranteed road to success. Thankfully, there are fresh ideas here that expand and evolve ZA/UM’s formula, making for what appears to be, on the surface, a more traditionally accomplished video game, but potentially at the cost of crafting a less interesting artistic creation. We spent six hours with the game, playing through the entire upcoming Steam Next Fest demo, plus a significant amount beyond it, and this is what we think of it.

Sony's State of Play for September 2025 gave us new looks at games like Saros from Housemarque, Microsoft's Flight Simulator 2024 coming to PlayStation, and well a fresh look at Battlefield 6's single-player campaign. 4 months, 3 weeks - Sony suprised everyone with their September State of Play and Max, Jada, Brian, and Nick broke down every major game announced. Starting off with the first look at the long awaited Marvel's Wolverine, and it didnt dissapoint. Wolverine is definitely earning it's likely M rating, and everyone on the show (espically Jada) was impressed with the small amount of gameplay we saw today. It's safe to say that we cant wait to sink our claws into it next year. Take a minute to soak in how well crafted that last sentence was, but not for too long because the crew also broke down other notable games from the stream such as Halloween, Saros, Megaman in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, Zero Parades for Dead Spies, Nioh 3, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and why the Sony Desktop Speakers are interesting.
