Satisfactory has been around for a while now, having spent five years in Early Access. It’s transformed quite a bit since launching way back then, and has now officially released its 1.0 version. So whether you’re booting it up for the first time or just need a refresher on the basics, here are 11 important things you should know before jumping in. Just note that this guide mostly only covers Phase 1, so we’ll be covering ways to maximize your time at the outset, using basic miners, biomass burners, and very little alien technology.0:00 Intro00:33 Start In Rocky Desert01:18 Explore before setting down Your Hub01:39 Place Multiple Portable Miners On One Node02:18 Unlock the Map ASAP03:04 Focus on unlocking milestones03:27 Conveyor Belts Are Key04:26 Optimize your layout early05:55 Collect lots of leaves06:46 Set to-do lists07;24 Set Up Temporary productions when needed08:01 Do the math09:54 Outro

Satisfactory is an open-world factory building game that lets you create sprawling builds across the planet. But you don't always start off with tons of resources to build whatever you want. You'll have to build your way across the land by mining natural resources and eventually automating all of your processes. Here's a look at what it's like to go from 8 hours in Satisfactory to 130 hours with sprawling train tracks.

Satisfactory reviewed on PC by Travis Northup.Satisfactory is the best automation game ever made and I seriously can’t recommend it enough. Every moment of the over 130 hours it took to build messy conveyor belt disasters and delightfully efficient factories was engaging, ridiculous, and an absolute blast with friends. Exploring this gorgeous, bespoke world in search of secrets and resources serves as a fantastic change of pace from constructing assembly lines, even when combat doesn’t offer much more than a few generic aliens to shoot at while doing so. It’s a drag thatSatisfactory’s insatiable appetite for electronics also results in regular technical annoyances, but none of them come close to souring this stellar factory builder.
