My family has been on my back telling me I'm getting to thin, with my ass that just isn't possible. One cousin keeps saying I'm on crack-whateva, he's joking but someone is going to believe him if he keeps saying it. I need to loose 15 more pounds then I need to concentrate on maintaining. 15 pounds won't even make me under a size 10. Which is fine because I am a curvaceous- yes I said curvaceous Black woman and skinny won't work on me. Very happy I'm not losing my boobies like I did when I did Atkins.
I'm very happy with my result so far , but damn it half my wardrobe is to big now. Some things I can still wear but a lot of my suits I can't because they don't have belt loops. I'm afraid to get them tailored for fear I'll blow up again. My weight has always been a seesaw but the slight depressing I had over my job at the beginning of the year caused me to get bigger than I have ever been in my life. I swear to the heavens I will never allow myself to slip like that again, I was so not happy.
Hopefully I can keep the weight off, I'm not really doing a fad type diet and I'm not starving myself. What's going on with me. I'm getting the last of my Christmas cards out hopefully this week. Have not started shopping yet- hope to start this week. My list is small so I'm not worried.
I went out Friday night to a small house party, had a really great time. Drank a bit too much and danced all night.
Yesterday, I went to see Lamar. He hasn't changed much but his eyes were open more. Another co-worker came with me and there were some of his friends there too. They bought him this cute little tree, next time I go I'll bring him a special ornament. It wasn't so hard to see him this time, my heart still heart but I was prepared this time around. I was going to give him a Christmas card, but all that good cheer and sparkle shit didn't fit. I'll look for a blank one and write my own message.
Happy note, my niece turned 18. I was ticked off at her for the past week and thought she would ruin the party with her attitude, thank goodness I was wrong. We had her 18th party last night, live DJ and food galore and it was a blast. She danced all night and so did I. My ass is TIRED! It was another great time. She got nice gifts, but my rocked- I got her Justin Timberlake tickets. He'll be here in February.
I want to sleep all day, but I can't. I have to go to the store and come home and bake cheesecake tarts. I'm going to a friends later this afternoon. This is the only time we will be able to get together before Christmas. So it's small group of one my circle of friends their husbands and the babies. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE BABIES!!!! Those adorable little things are worth my not sleeping in.

He was in ICU for about 2-3 weeks and then they moved him to a rehab facility. He was in a coma for a week then a drugged induced coma for another week and a half while in ICU. I saw him for the first time yesterday, I went to the rehab center.
This guy is about 26 and he's one of those fun full of life make everything interesting and fun type of guys. Super mack daddy always flirting but you just love him because he has a good heart. Well it broke my heart to see him in the state he's in now, he conscious and can open his eyes and they say he can hear and understand you, but he can't walk, move or talk. He has a tube in his neck to breath and his body is twisted.I had to step out the room a few times because seeing him like this was to much to take. His father was there when I arrived I never met any of his family before so it was a little awkward.
I brought him my favorite bear T. Bear, I had him for years. I gave Lamar a card and being my smart ass self I wrote about how T. Bear is there to watch over him and that I wanted him back when he was better (I really do) but I wrote just being smart and not knowing the full extent of his injuries 'don't drool on him'. Now I feel like that was mean and insensitive, I wanted to take the card back but his father had already opened it and put it on the wall with his other cards. I just felt like an ass.
I used to work in a nursing home so I'm used to seeing immobilized and or comatose people and it has never affected me like this. I know it's because I knew how Lamar was before the accident that its just unbelievable to think he not that Lamar anymore.
His father said the doctors expect him to recover back to his old self maybe not 100%. It's going to take a really long time though.
And to make me seem any more insensitive, how bad is is that I was attracted to the man's father. WTF is wrong with me. He was very nice to me but I think he may have thought I was kid-meaning his sons age. He left before I did and in another awkward moment he came to give me a hug and I felt silly because I put my hand out first. I mean I have no problem with hugging I am a major hugger but he just caught me off guard.

My weekend was really good. We stayed at a grundgy hotel in Chelsea, very cheap and was do-able for the weekend. I walked all around Chelsea and Manhattan and had such a good time. Never walked so much in life, my thighs are still achy.

Saw the play Saturday night. It was short, only 90 minutes no intermission. The set was quite elaborate, the theater itself was nice and intimate there were no bad seats in my opinion.
The cast was good. I enjoyed Carla C., she did a great job. Blythe Danner annoyed me a bit. The people playing the mother and brother I liked them alot especially the brother.
As for Gale, he did a great job. From what I know about the character he played he was dead on. He was so comfortable up there. I wish to see him in a more meatier role so hopefully he will continue with stage work. As for his appearance that man is sex walking in very sexy shoes. Never knew I had a thing for 1930's clothing but damn if Gale is wearing it it looks good. He put on a little weight and he wears it well. He actually looked younger to me on stage, on Vanished he looked older. Yes, he 's beautiful and yes I'm smitten. We didn't stick around for autographs did want to invade him that way.

I saw the final tour performance last night in RI for the So You Think You Can Dance top 10. It was really good and very emotional because it was the last performance.
Travis, Heidi and Ivan were the stand out performers. Benji was great too, he was the winner of this season, that boy can definitely swing dance and make it look easy. But the 3 I mention early were the show stealers and Heidi was in almost every performance. I really loved the contemporary pieces Heidi\/Travis and Ivan\/ Allison.
Donyelle disappointed me, she gained a lot more weight and she just didn't give the show her all, she was out dance by everyone.
I wish them all good luck, but I think with a lot of these realities shows only few will probably be heard from again and I predict them to be Travis, that boy will be on broadway soon, Benji he has the entertainer factor going on for him and maybe. Quite possibly Heidi...
Oh and Demetri oh my good goodness that is one tall sexy Russia with a beautiful smooth chest, he was YUM!
I was surprised I like a dance show that much. I love theater go to at least 5 to 6 shows a year, but never just a a dance show.
