Welcome to the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) Board of Trustees website. The Board is the official governing body of the academy, responsible for making key decisions and ensuring IMSA operates in accordance with its founding laws and state regulations.

The Board consists of thirteen voting members and four non-voting, ex-officio members. Our work is guided by specific rules and procedures, including a commitment to transparency under the Illinois Open Meetings Act. This ensures that the Board’s official actions and discussions are accessible to the public, with all final decisions being made in open sessions.
