The flow structures for the most general cases, as well as, the limiting three-dimensional cases are established using scaling analysis. The boundary in the limiting three-dimensional case where the flow is started to be perturbed is analysed using a self-similar technique. The solution is then presented using Fourier mode waves, while their initial phases are determined in a linearised approximated model. For the typical structure in which self-similar method is pursued, the displacement effect which plays an important role in doing the full criss-cross interaction is ineffective, instead, the influence of disturbance is mainly aected by centrifugal forces. The result being that the full perturbation equations degenerate into three independent ordinary dierential equations which can be solved analytically.
