so i woke up this morning in great pain. my meds had worn off and it was time to take more. so i did, then i waited till i felt better and after that i realized that sakuracon is in a few months. last time i did cosplay i promised myself i'd have my next one together months in advance. so i find myself with a few months, around the time i should be ordering and getting shit together, and i have no idea who i'm even going to go as. FAIL. so i kinda looked into lightning. but then i got cold on the idea since i haven't played the game and i don't know if i even like the character or not. while i was surfing i found a rendition of yuna, the wedding dress version. i had thought about doing this before, since i'd never seen one done. but i always thought it'd be too difficult, what with the feathers and shit. but sure enough cosplaystar has one made of bridal satin, and it looks pretty nifty and comes with that giant veil and shit. i was also excited because if kittie came she ouldn't have to buy a new costume liek she worried about. she has a lulu one she can take in, or she has the aerith one and we'd be like an ff matchy girl team or something. i want her to come to sakura so bad :C

anyway then i talked it over with isabelle and she seemed all for the idea even if it is a tad odd to wear a wedding dress. she also seemed in favor of doing a wedding version of lucrecia from dirge of cerberous/ff7 since lucrecia looks like she's in a wedding dress in her frozen state. mighty cool idea if you ask me. izzy can't go to sakura though, unfortunately. she's planning a trip to paris and had promised her boss she wouldn't take off easter without knowing sakuracon is on easter long weekend.
i might post a picture of the costume later. who knows? I could forget. Anyway, another reason i wanted to get this all done is so that if there was any trouble with the costume i could send it back and still have time to wrangle up something else.

another bonus is that i wouldn't have to wear a wig. my normal hair is long enough and could match the colour easily if i don't dye it red again. which is a bonus. i mean, i always look pretty good in wigs, and i like them. but it's one more expense, and i kinda like the idea of using my natural hair again on the comfort level. if i'm wearing some big, cumbersome gown i want to try and put as little discomfort on myself as possible. also saving money is always good.

it does sound odd thoug, like wearing a wedding dress as a costume. but i suppose i've always been a tad odd. i kinda wanted to try and do something super girly, since i;ve never really tried it before. i always end up doing like men or tomboys lol. ♥

so i'm kinda excited for the idea. i'd need to get a tiara, earring, and gloves separatly. izzy says she had white pump with a low heel i could use, and by the sounds of it we have similar shoe size. i looked it up on cosplay.com and saw most girls do this version with big white boots. in the scene it's like white pumps with a sheer boot cover. but i was thinking i could wear the white shoes and some knee high white, silk stockings and it would pull off the same effect, or close enough. the idea of wearing boots with it seems a little odd. so whatever, problem solved on that. toy can get those stockings in any lingerie store, and if there was still a problem, there's always ebay. i;ve already been looking for tiaras. none i have seen are a direct match, but there are those out there that are close enough for my taste.

i just know that if i do do that costume, i might have to allow someone to lead me when the veil is down. oh and i'd also have to get fake flowers and long ivy for the bouquet. it's orange and red roses... i was rp'ing with minion earlier which was nice. miki was one, but only for a moment since she had to study. it was too bad. i got her opinion on the costume, and she thinks it would be pretty. unfortunately we didn't have time to talk for long. i miss her :C so busy nowadays. i think it's alos because our schedules are off from each other too.

well those are my thoughts for today i suppose. kittie was supposed to call, but i guess she;s still suffering from the plague. she works too hard, gets her sick. not that i'm much better. speaking of which i have been able to see a difference in the shingles since i started taking the meds. i had kinda hoped they would clear up before me having to go to work tomorrow. but this is as best as my body can do i guess. which i'm not complaining bout. GO BODY! keep healing up this shit! i just dont want the pain while working. i went to take one of my dad's painkillers yesterday, and the top came off and half of them went into the water bowl for the animals. shitty deal... dad was a tad upset, but he understood it was an accident. he also knows i don't take his prescription ibprofen unless i really need it. i told the doctor not to bother withe pain meds when he was writing out his prescription for the anit-virals. he had asked me if i needed it. i said no since it;s one more thing i have to pay for and i'm cheap. but i prolly should have taken them. whatevs, hopefully it'll all be over soon-ish. ness wants to do a 'girls night,' next weekend, i'm prettu sure i'll be better by then.

i was supposed to stop at the bank today. deposit my pay cheque all that rot, but i was too painful to move too much. i didn't want to drive all the way out to mple ridge feeling the way i do. so i skipped it. pretty soon i'll have multiple paychecks sitting in my purse again :S i hope not. i'll fix it up maybe next thursday or something. since thursday is when banks are open late. i work during banking hours so it never works to drop by any other day.
