sooo sleepy :P anyway, guitar went well, still having trouble with bar chords. talked to erica to try and figure out when we can hang out. we were supposed to today, but shit feel through. since i had my guitar lesson and tim was taking her somewhere. whatevs, tomorrow is better timing anyway.

liv and i are going to dressew on sunday. i kinda feel bad since it means my baby will be alone on her birthday. i know that sounds crazy, want to know something crazier? i already know what sort of cake to get her... lol, she likes cheeses cake. the ones with the fruit on top. she's a strawberry kitty ♥

i told liv that i was second guessing going because it's pico's day. and she was all 'YOU ARE NOT GOING TO SNUB ME FOR YOUR CAT!' it made me laugh. finaly watched the women's figure skating short program, i had had it taped since i went to shutter island with john. it was impressive, now i can't wait till the free dance/long program.

it's raining really hard outside, and it's so fucking cold. lucky my room has a large portable heater. keeps me nice and toasty.

so after i went to sephora, i have been really pleased with the new cover-up. it's pretty damn amazing! it doesn't have a warm undertone beneath it like my last foundation. which is nice since it matches a bit better now, and i like being pale, i don't need 'warmth.' it also makes my skin badass flawless. cool beans in my book.

photo taken for my fb profile during the games. i would have done it sooner, but i am lazy and never remembered. i only remembered tonight because i wanted to mess about with my new camera. that's my sumi, one of the olympic mascots. my favorite. i was thinking of picking up a miga if i can find one for zina, but i dunno if she has one or not.

i think this is also the first photo of me after i had dyed my hair. so yes, some blond. i miss having a ring to put in my nose :C i dunno where the one i used before had gone. terribly terribly upsetting. on a side note i cleaned up some of the shit on my floor, clothes, plushies etc. i almost ended up tossing the cord i need for the new camera. smartest person i know, right?

haven't updated in a few days, so i suppose i will now. olympics are really exciting, 2 more gold medals.... ice dancing and women's ski cross. we already had the gold for women's snowboard cross and it's almost a given our women's hockey team will take gold, they're undefeated, and have been winning by a lot each game pretty much. seriously the female athletes are kicking ass, the men need to step it up :P lol.

anyway, so on saturday i went out into vancouver with my dad to check out all the happenings. we didn't have any tickets to see any event, we just wanted to wander about. this was of course after i had stayed up till like 5 at liv's lan party, playing eternal sonata. so i was a tad grumpy. before we took the train in, we hit up my uncle tim's because he needed some computer help with a listing he was interested in on craigslist. apparently he's selling the chevelle he just bought like this year and instead buying a convertable corvette i think he said. my uncle loves old muscle cars and i a bachelor so he has all sorts of toys, he's selling the harley though. anyway, the day out was good, lots of nifty performers entertaining the locals and tourists alike, lots of kiosks, and we went and saw the torch which was really very pretty...

unfortunately while i was taking a picture of the torch i dropped my camera and it broke :C poor little camera i will always love you and remember you fondly through all the awesome vacations we had together. the following monday i took it in to london drugs but apparently my warranty was up, and my camera wasn't shock proof like i thought it was. all well, i bought a new one. this one can apparently go underwater, and matches all my doo-dads because it's pink. the only think is it's really small compared to my last one, so i'm still getting used to that. i got the extended warranty on this one. all the pics from the old camera were on a memory card so i didn't lose them, but i never did get my picture of the torch :C

my dress came. i wasn't too impressed, but i took it o liv and she says it's all completely fixable and she's still have time to work on her own costume. so she made me feel better.for one the dress was all in one piece, so it looked really sloppy and heavy. the hat is completely not even salvagable, but hopefully i'll find something at dressew i can work with. if not, there's always ebay i suppose. liv and i want to head out to dressew this weekend, hopefully that'll come through and i'll have this all taken care of soon. the dress itself is made from costume satin, so the material is pretty dandy. i was fearing it's be like a vinyl :P but nope... the 'petticoat' they said it came with is actually just a hoop in a second layer underneath the skirt. so liv says she'll cut that all out and make a proper hoop skirt and petticoat since that one was lumpy and we can do better. i'm excited again. i love my livvy ♥

tonight i went and saw shutter island with john. after a sushi dinner of course. he paid again which kinda bugged me because it makes me feel awkward. he paid while i was in the bathroom though... cheater. also apparently on tuesdays if you get a movie ticket, you get a free regular drink and pop. i never knew this, it was especially exciting. the movie was good, a tad slow towards the beginning, but definately a pretty good suspense. totally didn't see the ending coming either, which is rare for me.

on our way home he gave me a pokemon card, which kinda confused the hell out of me since i don't collect them or anything. that is until i saw that it was a shinx ♥
heh in case you don't know, a shinx is my favorite pokemon. i'm surprised he even remembered. it brought me great glee. he also apparently jacked it from his dad, who collects them. makes me feel a little less like i come from a strange family since he knows all about my mom's eve addiction. lol.

i wanted dan to come online so i could tell him, but apparently he's a dork and needs sleep. i txt'd kittie though, i'm sure that would make her giddy. my little pokemon addict. i want a shinx plush :C

nothing too much happened today. went to work, it seemed to go by really fast. maybe because it was fairly busy. we finally go the new fountain drink machine. it's pretty fancy. i did pretty good in tips but then spent most of it because of all the shit i was running out of. like sleeping pills, and girly stuff for that time of the month. i also bought dinner. mom and i got sushi from shinobu. they had one of my favorite rolls in with their special today.

shinobu has this awesome roll, called a 'hot night roll.' it's like a dynamite roll with spicy tuna on top instead of like roe or avacado or something. like one of those usual rolls, like a dragon roll or something. anyway, point is it's delicious. their special also came with spring rolls.

got to wear my olympics shirt today. this made me happy, and over all i had a good day. coming home i got dad chicken wings and chips since he doesn't like sushi or fish in general usually.

i also bought a translucent powder today to help set my concealer. it's all fancy and smells nice. i love the smell of cosmetics, always have. i used to love watching my mom getting ready to go out snce then the whole bathroom would smell like yves st laurent lipstick. lol.

another gold medal for canada, this time in women's snowboard cross. tomorrow is the men's halp pipe and the male figure skater free skate. least i think it's tomorrow, could be on tomorrow. apparently there's still problems with cyprus, which is wear the majority of the snowboarding events are supposed to take place. should have picked blackcomb, it's a high elevation than cyprus, and has a pretty cool set up there. i think that where i learned to ski...

pills are kicking in, so groggy. pico's borthday in ten days. I 'm debating between a cheesecake or a tiramisu cake :S decisions decisions. anyone who makes fin of me for celebrating my baby's bday isn't getting any cake! :P dress is still in customs last i checked. since i told him what i had for dinner, john has now decided that on thursday we're getting sushi before the movie. i'm game, i love me some sushi. he says he'll meet me at work. i'm quite excited actually. talked to mom, prolly going to see avatar at the IMAX next monday. have to catch it before alice in wonderland replaces it in the IMAX theater. usually they only play 1 IMAX movie at a time. so gotta be quick. alice comes out in march i think.
