i want to wish you all a very happy valentines day, and i hope yours was a crap load more romantic then mine. i spent mine cleaning with my mom and watching project runway and the grammy awards. lol but i had a good day none the less. i got flowers and a box of chocolates from my dad, and a box of sweet georgia browns from my mom. my mom also got me a pretty awesome cards. it's all pretty font and a picture of a box of chocolate. it says 'valentines day sucks' and then on the inside it says 'but the candy's nice.' i couldn't agree more to be honest. i was never big on vday... so i happily chose pico as my valentine, and she made a wonderful one.

gosh i just love her dearly. to help get myself in the mood for loooove. i was watching the wallflower most of last night. which is a horribly amusing and addictive anime. i also own the live action. bought it at the night market last year. it's equally as entertaining.

so a very happy new year to you all. mine was spent over at ness's. leafy was lame and didn't come by, but we had a good time anyway. my new year's resolution? well i suppose i had better think of one.... i usually never make resolutions since i tend to forget them. i called my mom at like twenty past to wish her a happy new year, and some of the neighbor kids lit off some fire crackers. lol there were also a lot of fire works going off all over the place. it was kinda cool to watch. no big showings, just teenagers and shit prolly, but it was neat to see them come up from all over. hope all your new year's wishes come true, even the dark kinky ones ♥

after much toil and strife, xmas is finally here. and all i can think of is of how much has changed. it especially hit me when i went to my staff party last monday. i mean a year ago, kitty was with me and i was comforting rocky as i questioned my friendship with mandy. i remember kittie bought me my first tales game and jeanne d'arc for my new psp. i'm pretty sure that was the year i had no license... so we were drinking and shennanigans. i miss having kittie live close, but i suppose as long as she's happy, that's what's important. more importantly she's away from certain other individuals i do not trust.

but that's all past. in the here and now all i can do is sit back and watch. it's odd having kayden and bella here for the holidays. i mean my family hasn't spent an xmas here in several years. usually we go to nikki's but since the fire and the sepparation we can't obviously. shopping was a hassle, as it always is. i hate doing it every year :C but whatever, i'm pretty confident most of the presents i got people will be liked.

the austin's xmas party was held at some buffet this year instead of just at the restaurant. i'm not sure what changed with that, but then again i don't really care. i got all i could eat crabs legs out of it. micheal and evelyn gave us each a gift card to old navy/gap/banana republic worth $100. i was hoping i could get some of those knit adora boots. i don't really shop at any of those stores, but free's free i guess. despite that i found some things when julia, stacey and i wetn to the mall after dinner. all the rest of the crew decided to go bowling or something. i'm not sure if i could stand that. i'm not really friends with jeff and mandy, and their complexes annoy me now. luckily the girls i was giving the ride to didn't really feel up to bowling either. but shopping was a-okay! so i got a sweater, a cover-up and a tank top. though unfortunately they didn't have the boots i wanted. after that i came home and my dad suggested maybe heading to see avatar. we had tried on sunday and tickets were sold out. so i agreed and we raced down. dad got pulled over but the cop was feeling the xmas spirit i guess and let him off with a warning. we made it and saw the movie. unfortunatly it wasn't in 3D. but kayden wants to see it too, so i might take him to the colossus imax 3D on saturday. it was really good. easily a new favorite of mine... as i assumed i liked the blue people. they were badass.

that's it for now i guess. uncle tim stopped by and we all got to open our presents from him. he bought me oui by lacome, since my regular perfume, betsy johnson is discontinued. it smells really nice, apparently the lady said it was similar. i think the effort he put in was sweet. xmas day is probably going to be spent at marcy's, nikki and i are both not looking forward to it. but it's dad's family, so it's for him mainly. besides we can entertain each other.

Should be sleeping so i'll make this quick. went to work today only to find out that something with the fan in the venting system for the fryers broke down, they said they'd call if they got everything fixed but never did. then when i drove by on my way to my guitar lesson everything looked closed up, and there didn't even seem to be a light on. so maybe they didn't open at all today. i don't know what will happen with tomorrow. i'll call ahead, and if they don't pick up i guess i'll go and see. i dunno. it was kinda nice having an impromptu day off. i couldn't go back to sleep, or go into lazy mode i.e. wash my make up off and lounge in my jamas, since i didn't know if they'd call. so i ended up wrapping all my xmas gifts for the family, and going to superstore to pick up bella's present. while i was in line i found a copy of vampire knight volume 1. so i picked it up as well. not this past ae, but the one before it in '08, the goodie bag came with a vampire knight poster and i really liked the art. so i figure i'll give it a chance since it's been forever since i've read any new manga that wasn't over a screen.

guitar lesson went good. he helped me with my f chord, though i still can't play it perfectly because my index finger isn't strong enough to hold 2 strings at once yet, he told me to concentrate on working with the strings my stronger fingers are on, and if i can get three of them it will still sound like an f when it's played. he also gave me a snippet of 'into the night' so i can start on that song and work on the chord changes. learned a minor and d today, they're both fairly straight forward.

other than that, fairly boring day. i enjoyed having eggs in the house again. fried egg sammiches are delicious at any point in the day. watched the finale of SYTYCD, i liked both russel and jacob so i'm glad it was between the two of them. though now i have that j-lo song stuck in my head... it's fucking catchy, as much as i hate to admit it. maybe it because i'm a shoe freak?
