browsing peopleofwalmart.com has me wanting to show up in the rikku costume to buy some lucky charms while i'm in seattle. i don't even like cereal, this website is a bad influence on me.

in other news i've been talking back and forth with kittie and izzy talking about cosplay. course sakura is another year away, but i want to plan ahead this time i think. make it a bit easier on myself and those helping me. i mean, my costumes always turn out great, but it'd be cool if things were less frantic. liv said she might go to like one day of ae next year, and kittie has always wanted to do a daisy costume. so i was thinking about mario. various options were thrown about including me wearing a mascot yoshi or bowser costume. it'd be hot as well for ae though... and there's so much other stuff i adore more than mario. i'm not a huge mario fan, i was more into sonic as a kid... other options were yuuko from xxxholic, since my mom has been encouraging me more towards the route of pretty. she always loves seeing the costumes i do, and is proud that someone in the family got her talent with them... but she always asks why i can't do something nice like the cardcaptor sakuras or chiis. i'd feel kinda like a poser doing yuuko since i've never watched tsubasa and only own 1 xxxholic manga volume. there's also tales of the abyss, i know kittie loves it and i figure i'd make a pretty awesome tear. than my most recent option is sesshomaru from inuyasha. it was the first anime i really got into after escaflowne and like sailor moon when i was ten or so and knew what anime was. loveless and inuyasha were kinda my firsts, and sesshomaru was my favorite. he was so badass. when i first started doing up costumes he was one of the first ones i ever wanted to cosplay. but his costume was so complex, i just didn't think i had the means to do it. now it's just the expense of doing him. costume alone is going to be around $300 if the armor bit is included. i dunno, so many options.
