Anticipatory thinking is an essential cognitive skill for both individuals and teams, as it entails the capacity to proactively foresee forthcoming obstacles and possibilities. This paper examines the components of anticipatory thinking within the Western culture, encompassing forecasting, scenario planning, risk evaluation, opportunity identification, and adaptability. It emphasises the advantages of anticipatory thinking, including enhanced decision-making capabilities, readiness, and flexibility in response to changes. On the contrary, the article explores the Islamic viewpoint through an elucidation of Fiqh Tawaqqu' and an analysis of its importance within the realm of Islamic law (fiqh). Fiqh Tawaqqu' pertains to the anticipation of action results through the application of experience and evidence, with an emphasis on maslahah (benefits) for the ummah (community) and the prevention of damage (mafasid). The paper examines the acceptance and rejection of Fiqh Tawaqqu' among Muslim scholars, addressing the objections raised by some early Islamic figures. Furthermore, the paper offers examples of Fiqh Tawaqqu' that were initially met with skepticism but have proven to be relevant in contemporary contexts. It emphasizes the role of Fiqh Tawaqqu' in the development of jurisprudence and fatwa, enabling scholars to provide solutions to emerging societal issues. Finally, the paper explores the integration of anticipatory thinking and Fiqh Tawaqqu', highlighting the commonalities and potential synergies between these two approaches. It underscores the importance of forward-thinking and strategic planning in both Western and Islamic contexts to address complex challenges and shape a better future. This study presents a comprehensive overview of anticipatory thinking and Fiqh Tawaqqu', developing a deeper awareness of their significance and ramifications in today's environment.

Worldwide implementation of the lockdown was necessary during the first wave of the pandemic to stop the virus' spread. Students had experienced mental health problems as a result of adjusting to the changes. Many researchers looked at students' mental health before the massive COVID-19 outbreak, but they hardly ever looked at situations like those during the endemic. As a result, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the mental health status of undergraduate students at universities, the differences in that status between genders, and the connection between that status and academic performance. The study employs the quantitative research design. Students' mental health was assessed using the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) developed by Cohen et al. Also, to compare the procrastination levels of male and female students from a public university in Selangor. This study's data were collected via a questionnaire utilising the Procrastination Scale by Lay (1986) with a 5-Likert scale. This survey's sample consists of 51 students (25 male and 26 female students) enrolled in various courses at the university. This study's data were analysed using correlational analysis and the t-test. Students demonstrate a moderate level of procrastination, and it was determined that males procrastinate more frequently than female...

Physical activity was found to be advantageous in this unusual setting since it appeared to aid in the prevention of mental diseases such as anxiety and depression. Although various research has found that the pandemic has impacted individuals' mental health, there is a lack of study in the area among teaching staff in Malaysia. Thus, the purpose of this study is to investigate the general mental health of teaching staff, as well as its relationships with service duration, work sector, and level of teaching, among other things. The health status of 220 members of the teaching staff was assessed using the General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28) questionnaire. The findings revealed a statistically significant relationship between their health status and all three variables, demonstrating that the pandemic has caused stress among teaching staff with varying levels of service duration, work sector, and whether they are teaching at the primary, secondary, or tertiary levels. There are a few recommendations for future research included in this paper as well.

Teachers are the most important agents in the teaching process, so it's critical to pay attention to their capacity to teach students the skills. As a result, the purpose of this research is to examine teachers' thinking abilities and determine if there are any differences between genders. The Teaching Skills Inventory was completed by 266 primary school teachers in the Selangor area, and the results revealed that teachers use executive thinking skills. Despite the fact that both genders preferred executive thinking skills, a t-test indicates that male teachers scored significantly higher in all of Sternberg's suggested thinking styles. At the conclusion of the study, some recommendations for future research were included.

Children’s development is also identified through drawings. A number of theories were developed on the development of children’s drawings. The purpose of the study is to compare drawings done by 5-year-old and 8-year-old children with Lowenfeld’s theory on stages of art development since none is found in Malaysia. Qualitative method was used in the study, where observation and interviews were done in collecting data. The children were observed when they draw and interviews were done afterwards in order to find out what was drawn. Findings indicate that the drawings made were incongruent with the theories of development. The theory was found to be applicable to Malaysian children as well.

Background Unity has always been an issue to a multiracial country like Malaysia. Unity is important to ensure the optimum productivity in a country, whether in economics, politics, education or social. Everyone plays a role and is interdependent of each other. Education is considered as the most effective bridge to unity. Schools are the main medium to cultivate the sense of unity in a citizen, preferably during the young age. Interaction with individuals from different socioeconomic status (SES) background, religion and ethnic groups enables students to understand, accept and appreciate diversity. Through this value and experiences, national identity and unity can be created. Moreover, education can unite in some other ways. Through having a uniform curriculum is one of the ways. Curriculum built as a national curriculum must be adopted in National Education System which includes government educational institutions; government-aided educational institutions; and private educational institutions. By having a common medium of instruction is another way to unite students. Schools are supposed to use national language as the medium of instruction so that national identity could be built. Moreover, students are expected to attend the same school, preferably national schools so that they could integrate better among each other. Lastly through providing equal opportunity and access to learning and moving up the social ladder is another means to unity that education can provide. Students are given equal opportunity to enrol to schools since Malaysia offers free education through our national schools. In line with that, Malaysia has produced an education development plan that highlighted unity in its educational aspiration, namely Pelan Pembangunan Pendidikan (PPPM). 1.2 Pelan Pembangunan Pendidikan Malaysia (PPPMM) 2013-2025 PPPMM is a product of a brave approach by Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM), ministry of education, since it involved opinions and views from various national and international experts to assess and evaluate Malaysia's education system. KPM also referred to various documents including Strategi Transformasi Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi 2007-2020, Pelan Induk Pembudayaan Pembelajaran Sepanjang Hayat 2011-2020. A big number of Malaysian citizens were also involved in this. Furthermore, a national dialog called Dialog Pendidikan Negara (DNPN) was held from April to July 2012 involving almost 12000 citizens from various education and SES levels to gain their feedbacks and suggestions regarding PPPMM. It is a product of depth analysis, interviews, focus groups, case studies and research that were done with the help of national and international experts, KPM officers, teachers, principals, headmasters and parents around the world.
