Various models have been proposed in order to improve software process framework. However, implementation of such modules often requires huge cost involvement. Small and Medium sized Software Enterprises (SMEs), in Bangladesh, naturally fail to introduce or adapt such frameworks. So it has become a need of time to observe the Software Process scenario as a part of research activity which will ensure smoother transition to improved Process Framework. In this paper, various practical models and their practices in various SMEs and the importance of SPI system are highlighted and analyzed. Survey has been conducted to assess Real life practices with a view to compare with Benchmarks like Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). This attempt also suggests a direction for minimum best practice that might be helpful for small and medium sized companies to improve their current methods of practice.

Nowadays EPS system can be considered as a Mechatronics system that reduces the amount of steering effort by directly applying the output of an electric motor to the steering system. In this paper, the constitutions, operational mechanism and control strategies of EPS system are introduced. A potentiometer measures driver input to the steering wheel, both direction and rate of turn.

As the RFID tag has its unique identification number, it is also possible to detect a specific region where the RFID tag lies in. Recently it is widely been used in mobile robot navigation, localization, and mapping both in indoor and outdoor environment. This paper represents a navigation strategy for autonomous mobile robot using passive RFID system. Conventional approaches, such as landmark or dead-reckoning with excessive number of sensors, have complexities in establishing the navigation and localization process. The proposed method satisfies less complexity in navigation strategy as well as estimation of not only the position but also the orientation of the autonomous robot. In this research, polar coordinate system is adopted on the navigation surface where RFID tags are places in a grid with constant displacements. This paper also presents the performance comparisons among various grid architectures through simulation to establish a better solution of the navigation system. In addition, some stationary obstacles are introduced in the navigation environment to satisfy the viability of the navigation process of the autonomous mobile robot."

This survey has lead to an enhanced international awareness of the potential detrimental effects ... more This survey has lead to an enhanced international awareness of the potential detrimental effects on the environment. The main objective of this survey is to develop of public awareness about harmful effect of medications waste.This was a descriptive crosssectional survey involving with patients based on a structured questionnaire format with answer sets and asked why people do not use all of their medications; why they are keep unused medications, storage and how to dispose their medications. This study carried out at International Islamic University Malaysia (Health center Gombak campus, Selangor) and the medical college of the International Islamic University Malaysia (kuantan campus, Pahang). Although,87% of the respondents; they known about medications waste but only near about 2% of the respondents who are follow drug-take-back system because of above 93% of the respondents, they did not know about drug-take-back system. Most of the participants reported disposing of these in a manner that leads to their ending up in a landfill more than 65%. Finally, 83% of the respondents added to a disposal system ultimately ending up in a landfill. In this survey suggests that there is an urgent need to develop of public awareness and there is also need to develop dispensing policies & delivered to collection bag which deduction the volume of medication waste.

Designinga suitable indoor environment and its mapping are also important for the android localization, selection of a goal to achieve itand to perform the assigned tasks in its surroundings. This paper delineates the various gaits like walking, turning, obstacleovercoming and step up-down stairs for a humanoid system. The writing also explicates the design of the indoor test envi-ronment with the stationary obstacles placed on the navigation routes. The development of an efficient algorithm is alsoexcogitated based on the various analyses of gaits and the predefined map of the test environment. As the navigation map is predetermined, the designed algorithm animates the humanoid to navigate by selecting an optimal route, depending on someexternal commands, to reach at the goal position. Finally the performance of the system is analysed based on the elapsed timeof the navigation action with the validation of optimal navigation strategy where the designed algorithm demonstrates therobustness of its implementation and execution

Because of its unique and mystifying properties, many researchers and mathematicians have been studied about the Golden Ratio which is also known as Golden Section. Renaissance architects, artists and designers also studied on this interesting topic, documented and employed the Golden section proportions in eminent works of artifacts, sculptures, paintings and architectures. The Golden Proportion is considered as the most pleasing to human visual sensation and not limited to aesthetic beauty but also be found its existence in natural world through the body proportions of living beings, the growth patterns of many plants, insects and also in the model of enigmatic universe. The properties of Golden Section can be instituted in the pattern of mathematical series and geometrical patterns. This paper seeks to represent a panoptic view of the miraculous Golden Proportion and its relation with the nature, globe, universe, arts, design, mathematics and science. Geometrical substantiation of the equation of Phi, based on the classical geometric relations, is also explicated in this study. Golden Ratio and its chronicle, concept of Golden Mean and its relations with the geometry, various dynamic rectangles and their intimacy with Phi, Golden Ratio in the beauty of nature, Phi ratio in the design, architecture and engineering are also presented in this study in a panoptical manner.

Customarily, the design of an efficient routing protocol for Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) demand... more Customarily, the design of an efficient routing protocol for Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) demands sufficient consideration of the pertinent features. This is due to the fact that WMNs can be permanent or semi-permanent networks. Moreover, a reliable path from the source to the destination can be maintained using an improved and better performance metrics. Currently, the most widely used performance metric is the minimum hop-count which is based on the assumption that communication links are either working well or not working at all. This assumption is true for wired networks however this is impractical for wireless networks where numerous links suffer from intermediate loss ratios, low throughput, interference and other inherent limitations. Consequently, researchers have proposed a number of performance metrics for WMNs. It has also been shown that integrating multiple performance metrics into a routing protocol is effective for attaining optimal performance since it is highly probable that a single performance metric will not be able to satisfy the comprehensive requirements of WMNs. This paper presents a technique of integrating multiple routing metrics in order to optimize the performance of a routing protocol. The proposed technique is implemented on Multicast Ad-hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (MAODV) routing protocol. Simulation results show a statistically significant performance improvement over standard MAODV for WMNs.

The gait is conducted as one of the major requirements to establish an indoor navigation system for a bipedal robot. The strategy is experimented using the BIOLOID humanoid platform and the result represents that the technique is viable to step over an obstacle for that anthropoid without losing its upright position. Overcoming an obstacle for a bipedal system is one of the most critical jobs where the system reaches to the most unstable condition.

When defining the gait for stepping stairs, there exist two main phases which are Single Support Phase (SSP) and Double Support Phase (DSP). The challenge is to make the anthropoid stable in its upright position without losing it while performing the two alternating phases, SSP and DSP. In this paper a novel gait for an anthropomorphic system to step up-down stairs is formulated and experimented using BIOLOID humanoid platform. The gait is merged with various poses which are excogitated through the Forward and Inverse Kinematics (FK and IK) analysis based on Denavit-Hartenberg (D-H) representation and Geometric-Trigonometric (G-T) formulation techniques. The main focus of this paper is to represent and analyze the diverse behaviour of the various joint actuators of the robot while performing the step up and down stairs.

Nowadays EPS system can be considered as a Mechatronics system that reduces the amount of steering effort by directly applying the output of an electric motor to the steering system. In this paper, the constitutions, operational mechanism and control strategies of EPS system are introduced. A potentiometer measures driver input to the steering wheel, both direction and rate of turn. This information is fed into a microcontroller that determines the desired control signals to the motor to produce the necessary torque needed to assist. Although an electro hydraulic power assisted steering system can be used to reduce the fuel consumption, but the maximum benefit can be obtained if electronic system is applied instead of the hydraulic mechanism. The paper shows that a good power steering control technique is achieved by designing a Mechatronics system. The experimental results for the designed EPS system are also analyzed in this paper.

The algorithm is applied on Bangla Unicode searching to convert Bijoy string into Unicode string. Firs, the algorithm build a multilevel binary tree based on ACII code with its corresponding Unicode. The tree is build from a multilevel binary sorted data containing ASCII code and its corresponding Unicode. The data must be sorted based on ASCII code. The algorithm takes Bangla Bijoy string as input value and output the same string in Unicode format. The input Bijoy string must be in Unicode readable format I.

The movement patterns of various joint actuators of the humanoid system are described in this pap... more The movement patterns of various joint actuators of the humanoid system are described in this paper to identify and understand the behavior of the biped walking motions. This paper focuses on two major parts of the study, firstly the analysis and design of human like walking gait for an anthropoid system and secondly the implementation of the designed gait to navigate the robot from a source position to a destination point. The walking strategy is demonstrated on a flat surface where the robot performs its tasks without losing its upright position. The perfect combination of actuator motions determines the robustness of the humanoid system where the angular positions are established through the Inverse Kinematics analysis depending on the geometrical and trigonometric formulation. The paper mainly represents the joint demeanors of the humanoid robot in performing the designed walking gait.

The fashion of turning gait includes two main phases, Single Support Phase (SSP) and Double Support Phase (DSP). This paper represents the design of a novel type of turning gait for an anthropomorphic robot. The designed gait is experimented using BIOLOID humanoid system as one of the major requirements to establish an Indoor Navigation System. This paper describes the extent to which Bangladeshi students at the University Islam Antarabangs... more This paper describes the extent to which Bangladeshi students at the University Islam Antarabangsa (UIA), Malaysia, experiencing a cultural gap while enrolling in the University. The main objective of the study is to examine the perceptions of Bangladeshi students on the cultural differences and its impact on their overall experiences while studying in UIA. The qualitative approach of phenomenology was employed in this study and the data were collected using in-depth and interactive interviews. The study has found that Bangladeshi students studying in UIA are experiencing a cultural gap, manifested in their homesickness, food problems, financial intricacy and language complexity. The uniqueness and significance of this study lies in the fact that it is an important and fundamental study about the cultural adaptation by Asian Muslim students in an Asian Muslim country.

Because of its unique and interesting properties, many mathematicians as well as renaissance artists and architects studied, documented and employed golden section proportions in remarkable works of sculpture, painting and architecture. Robot sizing especially for the Humanoid Robot, Phi is considered as the key to achieve the human friendly look. The ratio also plays an enigmatic role in the geometry and mathematics. The basic concept of golden ratio and its relation with the geometry are represented and described in this paper. The paper also explains about the structure and construction strategies of various dynamic rectangles by establishing some relations and dependencies with each other. The main contribution of the paper is to study about the validation and substantiation of the Equation of Phi based on classical geometric relations. The technique can be considered as an interesting strategy to prove the Equation of Phi.
