Due to this, 60mV/decade becomes the bottleneck of this day transistor. A comprehensive study of the Negative Capacitance Field Effect Transistor (NCFETis presented. This paper shows the effect of ferroelectric material in MOSFET structure by replacing the insulator in the conventional MOSFET. It should be possible to obtain a steeper subthreshold swing (SS) compared to the one without a ferroelectric material layer, thus breaking the fundamental limit on the operating voltage of MOSFET. 27% of the subthreshold slope reduction is observed by introducing ferroelectric in the dielectric layer compared to the conventional MOSFETs. Hence, the power dissipation in MOSFET can be mitigated and shine to a new technology of a low voltage/low power transistor operation. ABSTRAK: Transistor Kesan Medan Konvensional (FET) te...

The motivation behind the work was the increase in demand for compact metamaterial antennas for applications that require wide bandwidths [1]. Enhancement to the bandwidth of the antenna is achieved by incorporating two additional capacitances, in both, the shunt and series arm of the CRLH TL unit cell equivalent circuit. The additional capacitance in the series arm of the CRLH TL unit cell was added in parallel to the left-handed capacitance, CL, by which an increase in the total series capacitance is achieved. This was done by means of a cap in the form of the metal-insulator-metal (MIM), which was introduced on a layer below the radiating patches. The additional capacitance in the shunt arm of the CRLH TL unit cell was added in series to the right handed capacitance, CR, by which a decrease in the total shunt capacitance is achieved. This was done by means of a parallel plate that is being introduced on a layer between the vias and the ground plane of the unit cell. The proposed unit cell consists of the original mushroom structure (which is made up of a patch and a via connecting the patch to the ground plane), a cap and a parallel plate. Analysis of the dispersion characteristic of the proposed unit cell reveals a reduction in dispersion as compared to the unit cell without the two additional capacitances. This factor contributes to the increase in the bandwidth of the structure. The antenna con¯guration is in the form of a 2 £ 2 patch. A comparison made between the bandwidth of the proposed CRLH TL antennas with the conven- tional CRLH TL antenna, shows an increase in bandwidth from 9.2% to 18.5%. The proposed antenna is a tri-band and its length, width and height at the ¯rst resonant frequency are ¸0=26, ¸0=26 and ¸0=27, respectively; where, ¸0 is the free space wavelength.

The major concern in these inverters is its reliability and power conversion efficiency. The less current loss occur while conversion the more power efficient inverter is. This work obtains 220V 50 Hz AC from a 12V DC input supply voltage (from Solar source or battery). The current loss comparison at each sampling frequency ranging from 1 KHz to 20 KHz for both cases of transformer-based and transformer-less is shown and discussed. Also, are explained circuit configuration and switching pattern for the two configurations of inverters under consideration.

The fundamental relations leading the geometry of carbon nanotubes are reviewed and explicit examples are presented. A framework is given for the symmetry properties of carbon nanotubes. The implications of symmetry on the electronic structure of 1D carbon nanotube systems are considered. The corresponding properties of hexagonal coordinate system and electrical properties of carbon nanotubes are also discussed.

Expectations from non-contact biomedical implants are getting renewed interests among researchers. A novel work is carried by presenting a non-contact technique as an inductive transducer coils. A theoretical analysis of an inductive transducer is given which is followed by a development of non-contact measurement technique to characterize core materials within a frequency of 1 KHz to 20 KHz. Simulation is carried out using ...

An enhancement mode SPICE circuit model for nanotube transistor has been developed. A new CNTFET circuit can be developed by using this SPICE model. It can be also used to examine the performance benefits of the newly built transistor. The carbon nanotube field effect transistor SPICE model has been analyzed on the high frequency properties including the persuade of ballistic transport, kinetic inductance and quantum capacitance. The model enables device design and performance optimization for the future generation nano-electronics device modeling.

We show that incorporation of0 3 enhanced the reaction with the sputtered metal atoms on the substrate surface at room temperature due to its powerful oxidizing nature. The effect of 0 3 inoxygen (02) gas on the properties of the ITO films was investigated. It is found that high transparency and low resistivity film can befabricated athigh deposition rates and low substrate temperatures by using ozone in oxygen gas.

MESFETs with non-alloyed Pd/Ge Ohmic contacts are also investigated for comparison. All contacts were deposited using a resistance heating evaporator and were furnace annealed in a conventional graphite strip annealer. Contact resistivities, r c , of the metallizations were measured utilizing the conventional transmission line model (cTLM) method. Metallization samples were characterized utilizing scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and current±voltage (I±V) measurements. Morphological characteristics display signi®cant impact on the edge uniformity of the contacts. The maximum amplitude of the undulation with Pd/Sn/ Au contacts is H100 nm. MESFETs with Pd/Sn/Au metallizations show improved extrinsic transconductance, g m , when compared to the MESFETs with Pd/Sn and Pd/Ge contacts. The calculated g m for the MESFETs with Pd/Sn/ Au metallizations is more than 100 mS/mm for a gate length, L G , of 2 mm. Experimental results show that nonalloyed thermally stable Pd/Sn/Au Ohmic contacts appear to be promising candidates for GaAs devices.

ABSTRACT A proliferating interest has been being observed over the past years in accurate wireles... more ABSTRACT A proliferating interest has been being observed over the past years in accurate wireless system development in order to monitor incessant human activities in health care centres. Furthermore because of the swelling number of elderly population and the inadequate number of competent staffs for nursing homes there is a big market petition for health care monitoring system. In order to detect human researchers developed different methods namely which include Field Identification technique, Visual Sensor Network, radar detection, e-mobile techniques and so on. An all-encompassing overview of the non-wired human detection application advancement is presented in this paper. Inductive links are used for human detection application while wiring an electronic system has become impractical in recent times. Keeping in mind the shortcomings, an Inductive Intelligent Sensor (IIS) has been proposed as a novel human monitoring system for future implementation. The proposed sensor works towards exploring the signature signals of human body movement and size. This proposed sensor is fundamentally based on inductive loop that senses the presence and a passing human resulting an inductive change.
