In the last decade or so, a set of situations have formed a way for electric mobility to enter India’s primary market, but it is still in its initial phase. Charging infrastructure can be considered a supporting pillar of this EV promotion scheme. The serviceability of a charging station is greatly affected by its location and the technology available. Hence, to fully incorporate EVs in the transportation sector, their charging technologies and stationing at appropriate charging sites must be analysed thoroughly. The selection of electric vehicle charging technology is a complex procedure. It can be decomposed into a decision-making problem with various criteria and alternatives to be considered simultaneously. This can be done using a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) technique. This study provides a fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (Fuzzy-AHP) framework to evaluate different criteria affecting our alternate technologies. Further, another MCDM Technique, VIKOR, is used to find solutions closest to the ideal condition and rank the alternate technologies. However, the selection of technology may vary from place to place. This study evaluates the criteria based on experts’ opinions. It is observed that the criteria reliability has the least weight, and charging time holds the maximum weight. This study favours battery swapping among all the available alternatives.

A model is hypothesised to evaluate the quality of academic websites. The research is intended to suggest future developers to construct an effective website. A survey has been conducted to gain the user's perspective for an academic website. Data were collected from 124 respondents, and confirmatory factor analysis and other reliability tests have been employed to validate the model. Structured equation modelling has been further used to test the hypotheses. The study indicates that the suggested nine quality constructs (system accessibility, design, responsiveness and functionality; information understandability, relevance and current; service perception of service and trust building) directly affect the user satisfaction of an academic website from a student's point of view.

An effective and efficient use of information technology can be used as an important driver in successful humanitarian relief efforts. Hence, it is essential to understand the factors affecting the implementation of information technology in humanitarian relief organisations. This study aims to identify the challenges in implementation of information technology in humanitarian relief organisations in India.

There is a need for a qualitative, interpretive, holistic and flexible framework in the literature. The main purpose of this work is to propose a framework. Therefore, the present study uses an interpretive method, namely “situation–actor–process–learning–action–performance” (SAP–LAP) analysis, to enhance the understanding and analyze the SC resilience building and improvement in the case company, ABC, a prominent automaker in India. Findings reveal several issues, including the establishment of risk management culture, building collaborative capabilities, framing flexible contracts, enhancing the awareness level of risks, security, and resilience among stakeholders, seamless information sharing, require attention. The efficacy and simplicity of the SAP – LAP framework may enable SC stakeholders to initiate resilience-building processes.

Therefore, environmentally responsible transport practices (ERTPs) become a serious concern of freight shippers and transport service providers. Past studies generally ignored the assessment of ERTPs of freight transport companies during a transport service contract. To bridge the above literature gap, this paper proposed a hierarchical framework for evaluating freight transport companies based on ERTPs.Design/methodology/approachIn a data-driven decision-making environment, transport firm selection is affected by multiple expert inputs, lack of information availability, decision-making ambiguity and background of experts. The evaluation of such decisions requires a multi-criteria decision-making method under a group decision-making approach. This paper used a data-driven method based on the intuitionistic fuzzy-set-based analytic hierarchy proces...
