Lower Silesian Public Library im. Tadeusz Mikulski in Wroclaw is a regional cultural institution of Lower Silesia. It serves the inhabitants of Wroclaw, but also supports public libraries in Lower Silesia.
The Finnish Library Association acts as lobbyist for public libraries in Finland – they organize campaigns and provide information about libraries. France has numerous national library associations, but only one of them, the Comité français international-bibliothèques et documentation (Cfibd) has the explicit objective of coordinating and supporting international actions of French libraries and information centers, and of their associations, supporting the participation of French professionals in international or foreign national conferences and colloquiums, especially those of IFLA.
