You have to wonder, a little, what igh033 is doing with nearly 180,000 Flickr favorites

@nemo powerware seems better than APC. Build quality isn't what it used to be, judging by my recent purchases. They like NUT
@synx508 shame about build quality, but the strong NUT support is nice to see. I'm consistently seeing "fantastic support" in reviews too

@quixoticgeek switched to co-operative for energy recently on the basis that they say their bills make sense as do their promises. we'll see

Gazpacho, it's like an energy drink, but lumpy and not a drink.

@quixoticgeek Every PCB design package I've come across makes me wonder how anything ever gets produced with it.

@quixoticgeek 26 minutes of flashing firmware seems excessive, even without the error part

@mjog I accidentally left my hat in Croydon yesterday, it's safe though, hope you find your cap. Loss of headgear feels oddly personal.
@synx508 thanks, it was my favourite one, too. Must ask around on Monday.

Those filters in the Dyson vacuum cleaner that you're supposed to change every 3 months seem to be washable. Re-e-e-suck

@teferi hey, you get a free security sandbox effect, which is probably no bad thing.

@teferi that sounds like a feature akin to peril sensitive sunglasses
@synx508 well, it means I end up using Outlook in a VM. which isn't really a win.

@teferi how does one tell? Unless Exchange itself is being admin-ed by gurus the experience of using it is likely to be crap *natively*.
@synx508 well, the part where Evolution segfaults while trying to set up an Exchange account is fairly telling.

@screwtape Sorry to hear that. I did the same thing a few days ago. It's never worth clicking techcrunch.com links.

The SCSI backplanes on these Dell 2850s really are crap. Every few months a disk will go offline for no reason. Glad they don't sell em now
