Documentation often gets out of date quickly. Allow the community to easily keep it up to date!

According to multiple DigitalOcean articles, snapshots are saved to an account and not directly related to a droplet. When deleting a droplet earlier today, my related snapshots were immediately deleted instead of being saved to the account like support documentation mentioned.

These instructions for how to enable logging ( https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/spaces/how-to/access-logs/ ) are very useful, except that they don’t mention access keys. I spent a bunch of time trying to figure out whether to use an access key for the source bucket or an access key for the logging destination bucket, before I eventually figured out that I could create an access key that had full access to both buckets, which worked. So could you add a note in these instructions saying that the ./aws/credentials file needs to contain the access key ID and secret for an access key that has access to both buckets? (And it might also need to be full instead of limited, not sure.) thanks, --Jed

Under Network Access, I'm able to add the Trusted Sources. And I'm putting there my IP. But let's say I want them to be: Temporary (so the access will drop in 24 hours. (I'm traveling, and I need access to db from the location I might not return to) So the access would drop automatically Enable / Disable access source. In the Age of AI we have troublesome possibilities that AI will decide to connect to prod for any reason and delete it. So in order for me not add / remove my "Home" IP address i can enable disable it easily. As well as Disable after 2 hours. In this situation the IP stays saved, but it is valid only for certain amount of hours. Thank you.

I started by searching for a way to visualise logs that are stored in my logs folders. I then found an article by Digital Ocean's Erin Glass which helped a great deal in getting things up and running. Although I had several concerns over stability and also thought what if I could have everything, ie: all tooling under one roof. I then ported the install to Kali Linux, to try to see whether it'd be possible. Instead of using Nginx, I used Apache2 web server.
