The Kids K is a simple out-and-back course, beginning at the 5K start line on Dalbey Drive. Runners proceed west and turn around just before they reach Orchard Village Road. Dalbey Drive will be completely closed during the race.

The 5K Course is fast, flat, and paved, starting on Dalbey Drive going west and proceeding to the City of Santa Clarita parade route, featuring one of the best cheering sections in SoCal! The turnaround point is in front of the library on Lyons Avenue.

The Masters Walk is a flat out-and-back course. The event will begin immediately after the 5K runners depart and will also proceed west on Dalbey Drive, turning left (south) on Orchard Village Road (along the Parade Route) until reaching the halfway point where walkers return to the starting point. Thanks to our presenting Sponsor Heritage Sierra Medical Group we are able to offer the Masters Walk at no charge until the end of April. Please sign before then and save!

Q.  Where should I park?
A.  There are a lot of options, especially if you arrive early and are aware of street closures. Options include:

• Hart High School
• Newhall Park
• Placerita Jr High School (until full)
• Local Street Parking

 No Parking on Dalbey!

Q.  Can Runners Get Dropped Off?
A.  Yes, please try to get as close as possible to Newhall Ave and Dalbey Drive for any Drop-Offs.

 Q. Where does the race start/end?
A.  All races begin and end at Newhall Park, at the corner of Dalbey and Newhall Ave.

Q. Are strollers allowed on the race course?
A: Strollers are allowed for those participating in the run/walk and are required to begin at the back of the start to not impede faster runners.

Q: Can a child ride a bicycle alongside or with an adult who is running in the race?
A: No, for the safety of all participants we cannot have bicycles on the course.

Q: Can I receive a refund if I register, and I am not able to run in the race?
A: No, all entries are final and no refunds can be given.

Q.  Are pets allowed on the race course?
A.  Leashed pets are welcome in the park as spectators but for the safety of all are not allowed on the race courses.

Q.  Can I wear headphones/earbuds during the race?
A.  Wearing of headphones and earbuds is discouraged on the race course for the safety of all runners and to hear instructions.

Please arrive early to park, pickup bib (if needed), and prepare for the race. Races will begin promptly at 7:15am (Kid’s K), 7:30am (5K), and 7:35am (Masters Walk).

Q.  Can I have someone else pickup my Race Packet for me?
A.  If you cannot attend one of the pre-race Packet Pickup times, you can have someone else pick it up for you. Please be sure to give them a copy of your Photo ID to show at Packet Pickup.

Q.  What is the maximum age to participate in the Kids K?
A.  The Kids K is recommended for ages 10 and under.

Q.  Will there be awards for the top 5K finishers?
A.  Yes. Awards will be given for the top 3 Male and Female overall finishers as well as the top 3 Male and Female in each Age Group.

Fastest Team
This award will be determined by averaging the 5 fastest runners of each team.  Teams must have at least five runners to compete for this award.

Largest Team
Given out to the team with the most registered runners.
