18th International Conference on Social Robotics (ICSR + ART 2026)

University of London, London, UK | 1-4 July 2026

The International Conference on Social Robotics (ICSR) is the premier global forum for researchers, academics, and industry professionals advancing the science, design, and real-world applications of social robotics. Since its inception, ICSR has united experts from diverse disciplines to explore the ethical, societal, and technological dimensions of human–robot interaction.

For its 18th edition, ICSR 2026 introduces a special theme: “ICSR + Art: Exploring Creative Robotics.” While continuing to embrace all core areas of social robotics, this year’s conference adds a distinctive focus on the intersection of robotics and the arts. This theme invites us to consider how robots can transcend their traditional roles to become creative collaborators, co-designers, performers, and participants. Through the lens of creative robotics, we seek to deepen our understanding of how social robots can inspire and engage with imagination, aesthetic experience, and technological innovation.

Join us at the University of London from 1-4 July 2026 for an intellectually vibrant and inspiring event. Set against London’s rich landscape of culture, innovation, and technology, ICSR 2026 offers a unique opportunity to connect with leading researchers, visionary artists, and industry pioneers exploring how social robotics is redefining collaboration, expression, and human experience.

ICSR 2026 is where innovation meets creativity, charting new pathways for how humans and robots create, perform, and coexist.
