I wonder why it didn't work for the reviewer? The program looks the most promising for me to use on Windows 7 because it almost looks like a native program (not obviously 3rd party).
Perhaps it's a bitness thing? Additionally, Brightness gadgets I have tried (yes, gadgets!), sometimes need a certain net framework update before they work properly - maybe that's what was missing?
I love this little brightness adjustment app. Far less complicated than the Windows version and more accessible!
The only thing that could make this better is if it were time-integrated, changing brightness on a schedule, or ambient-light-integrated, changing brightness depending on backlighting.
