In this paper we present our research on satisfaction of undergraduate and graduate students at t... more In this paper we present our research on satisfaction of undergraduate and graduate students at the University Library " Svetozar Marković " , regarding the quality of library services using the SERVQUAL model. It is based on the Master's thesis of one of the authors. The SERVQUAL model is used in libraries worldwide (for example in Finland, USA or Australia). By showing the results of the research, the authors point out the significance of the survey and measurement of library users' satisfaction using the SERVQUAL model. These results are indicators of points where library services could be improved, such as library holdings, professionalism and level of education of library staff. The satisfaction of library users, as a foundation for quality evaluation of libraries, is usually measured by surveys. This paper presents the SERVQUAL model for measuring users' satisfaction with library services using the gaps model, i.e. measuring the gap between users' expectations and their perceptions of library services. We suggest that these measurements should be repeated in order to get the results of the efficacy and usefulness of library services. In that case the changes between two or more measurements should be incorporated in the work process of the institution. The organizations that provide different public services have become aware of the importance of measuring and evaluating their users' satisfaction. Seeing that libraries have been focused on library users from their beginnings, it is of vital importance for them to recognize users' needs and evaluate the quality of library services. Perceiving performance indicators of a library from the point of view of its users can be used as a significant resource for further strategic planning and developing the library as a " learning organization " .
The paper gives the bibliomet-ric and citation analyses of the SPATIUM journal for the period 200... more The paper gives the bibliomet-ric and citation analyses of the SPATIUM journal for the period 2009-2015. In the subject period, Spatium was published twice or three times a year, from the issues 19-34, so that this study comprises 16 volumes, or 145 papers. The bibliometric analysis of the Journal was made de visu (with the publication in hand), thus ensuring the authenticity of the given results. The analysis shows the number of papers, cat-egorization of papers, number of authors, affiliation of authors, representation of authors from different countries, average number of references per paper, length of texts, keyword frequency , total number of reviewers and their international representation. The citation count was based on the data taken from the citation databases of SCIndex (Serbian Citation Index), Google scholar and Scopus. The paper shows the differences in the citation analysis of the SPATIUM journal at the example of one paper .
The work on a great number of research projects began from the very establishment of the Institut... more The work on a great number of research projects began from the very establishment of the Institute of Architecture and Urban & Spatial Planning of Serbia (IAUS) as an independent scientific research organization. On the basis of an insight into the archival materials, this paper will present the first seven Scientific Research Papers (SRP). This paper will give the basic data for each SRP project (title of the theme, names of authors of the project and their collaborators, project orderer, research project duration), titles of papers published in journals, titles of monographs with the scientific projects results and the list of archival numbers of boxes containing the existing documentation.
