Summary: Bill knows he's failed.

The night is supposed to be comforting, but not this evening. He stands in the field between his home and Sookie's, the lights softly illuminating the re-built home. Once upon a time, he could just walk over, find comfort in those familiar walls but not anymore.

His invitation has been revoked and for what? A past that no longer represents his future. He couldn't go against Lorena, against his queen, of that there was no choice.

Still.

He failed Sookie and he failed himself when it took Eric's hand to reveal all.

And that'll haunt him forever.
