17 years ago today, I got married. It didn't last even a full five years. We separated after 4, and divorced about 4 months before what would have been our fifth Anniversary. I'm glad we got married, and also glad we divorced. We are both happier for it. Jane is still happily married to her fourth husband, who is a really good guy, and I am happily uninvolved romantically with anyone.<\/p>\n

Here we are in Cuba, not long before we separated.<\/p>\n
