I'm a 35 year old (today!) Zaftig Jewish woman, living in Nashville, after 15 long years in Oklahoma. Grew up in suburban Chicago (think John Hughes movies). I teach creative writing online, and am looking for real work. I'm mostly a poet, but recently started writing Smallville fic hence driving me here.
(Actually I should update this, as over a year has passed, I'm 37, and have expanded into writing a little Sports Night, The Sentinel,Stargate SG1, due South, a fair amount of Everwood and The O.C, and various one offs.)
Add another year. (I'm 38 today!), some Stargate:Atlantis and a few more various fandoms. Since last user info update I've :moved to a new apartment -- my first high rise; and gone back to college (yay for online classes!).
Okay, so I turned 39 yesterday. That's kind of scary. Otherwise things are about the same. Not so great healthwise -- am now on Insulin, yuck -- but hopefully not forever. Still writing a lot, but with bigger goals ahead.
Wow, so this is 40! Look at all the flying cars! Another birthday today, and my 5 year LJVersary, too. We'll see how (and if) things improve this year. Wish I had something fascinating to write, but I don't yet.
41 (for another few hours) and the procrastinating side of me warred with the completetist, so I had to put something for this year in here.Not a banner year, but it had its moments.
45! I haven't been doing yearly bio updates like I always meant to, but this one marks my 10 year LJversary. I am so thankful for all the friends and fannish connections I've made here. It's been a lifeline in what has been a really hard last few years, even more so since my dad died this past December..
Note to the (under 18) kiddies: Some of this stuff is not meant for your tender sensibilities. Please stick to the PG13 and under fic:)
I'm left handed, and left wing, and am a sucker for music with clever lyrics, and a beatle-esque hook.
