300 is such an epic movie. I remember seeing it at the IMAX down in Denver. It was... almost too big of a screen for that movie. It was like sitting right in front of a tv, with your face pressed up against the screen. But even still, I really enjoyed it. Something about all those big Spartans, and their muscles... And lot of awesome fight scenes. And Xerxes. holy shit he looked awesome.

Part of the reason I like this movie so much is because it takes place in ancient times, and ancient civilizations fascinate me.

Unfortunately, I don't remember a lot about this movie, but I remember loving it. And catching the ending on FX not too long ago. And telling my sister we'd have to watch it sometime. And that still hasn't happened yet, oops.

Technically, this should have been #1, because, alphabetically, 21 comes before 28. Whatever!

I remember buying 21 when it first came out because I had missed my chance to see it in theaters. So I bought it and watched it... Sometime. I remember really enjoying it. The idea of counting cards is fascinating to me, because, omg how does that work??

The movie itself, I really liked it! I may be a bit biased because I love Jim Sturgess, but I thought the movie itself was genuinely good. I looooved the ending.

I was thinking of doing like, reviews for my blog posts, but I don't want to spoil my movies for someone that hasn't seen it, but I don't have much else to say, haha.

SO. I'll do a kind of vague review (for movies I actually remember, hehe).

Basically, a kid, Ben, who builds robots with his college friends says something smart in one of his classes and his teacher invites him to a club after school. Said club is really a club for smart people who count cards in Blackjack. They then go to Vegas and win tons of money (for which most is given to the teacher) on various weekends. Ben gets addicted to the money, glitz, and attention from girls (since he was a nerrrrrrd back at school) and makes a plan for them to go without the teacher and win all the money for themselves. He gets screwed over by the teacher, but he gets his in the end :)

So, I've been really awful about updating my LJ. I just never have anything to talk about XD I don't do anything. Though, I'm pleased to say that I'm finally getting my social life back, after like, 3 or so years. I am actually getting excited to go out and do stuff with my friends, This makes me happy, because I felt like such a loser when I was working at the gas station and going to school.

I was going to wait until December and ask for Sonic Generations for my birthday, but I watched some youtube videos of the gameplay yesterday and went out and preordered it. I can't wait until December xD I need that game ASAP, so I get to go pick it up Tuesday.

I had a zombie dream last week, in which me, my dad, and my sister were trying to escape some zombies, and my dad was driving us in my sister's car. But he was driving the speed limit and I was getting so pissed off because he was driving so slow and there was no one around except us and some zombies. So I'm trying to nag him to go faster and for some reason he actually stopped at a stoplight (or stop sign, I can't remember now) and I flipped my shit XD And then all these zombies started pawing at the windows and door handles and so I'm like, leaning over trying to lock all the doors and finally my dad goes. Then for some reason, he decided that he did need to go fast, and started driving like, 80, and then crashed into a fence. :| So I finally said \"FUCK IT.\" and got out of the car and just started running.

Omg, most annoying dream ever. I actually woke up, not because I was scared, but because I was so pissed off I couldn't sleep. I looked at the clock and it was like 2:30 am, so I got up and went to talk to my sister. I was trying to make sure I wouldn't continue that dream when I fell back asleep. XD UGH. Just thinking about that dream makes me so mad!

I don't really have much else to say. :c

Me and my Death Note group. These are the people I spent most of my weekend with. xD Apparently, people thought we were all really close friends before NDK and went to the con as a group. Truth is, I ran into them on friday night while I was Yumi and heading back to the room to take off my Yumi stuff and go get Toboe's captain's jacket.

Long story short, I was excited to see the DN charaters together, and even more excited when they told me they were looking for a Light. I told them that I would find them the next day. And I did. And ... well... thats that xD

Well, currnetly I'm sitting here, watching Family Guy with my sister. We leave in the morning to go back to FoCo. It'll be nice to get home... Of course, then I just have to leave again... sfhlf.

Um... This week has been kind of boring, XD

On sunday, we got here at about 5 or 6 pm. ate dinner, kate and I went to the gas station next door and got some dirnks. That's when I had my little accident slipping out of my flip flop and slamming my knee right into the stair. XD I'm amused because it doesnt hurt at all, unless I kneel on it in the wrong spot. It definitely looks a lot worse than it is.

Anyway. that was Sunday.

Yesterday, Shaun and Kim came up. Then dad, Shaun, and Kim went to the caves. Kate and I didn't want to go. So we went swimming instead. That was exciting. But I didnt want to burn so that didn't last long.

Yesterday was boring. xD

Then today, dad, Shaun, Kim and I went to the hot springs. That was fun! we swam there for about two hours. then we left because I mean... come on, you can only hang around in sulfur for so long... xD then we got back and I needed a shower. I wasnt going to go to dinner smelling like sulfur. ack. XD

so yeah. pretty uneventful. but we've been coming here for the past... 8 years or so. we're kind of running out of stuff to do...

I guess that's it. I dont really have anything else to say. first impression<\/b> When I first read the books, I thought \u201cgod, how totally obnoxious.\u201d When I watched the movies, I thought \u201cgod, how obnoxious. But he\u2019s cute.\u201d XD I have a special place in my heart for blonds. I always have. My mom will tell you.

Why our relationship might work<\/b> Well. He\u2019s cute. XD And as Sam put to me once \u201cyou have the patience of a saint\u201d. And well, I can be rather full of myself, too XD I dunno. With him, the cons outweigh the pros here.

Why our relationship might not work<\/b> He\u2019s a whiner, a baby, a jerk, and overall a giant douche bag. XD Um. I couldn\u2019t count on him to protect me, because he\u2019s a total coward. And well. I\u2019m from a non-magic family so that automatically makes me a \u201cmudblood\u201d and so that\u2019d kill it right there. XD

Conclusion<\/b> Me + Malfoy = bad juju. It simply would not work. But he still makes me go \u201cdsjfkhsdlfskfs\u201d in a good way :D

character overview<\/b> Cedric first shows up in the book, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban as Hufflepuff\u2019s newest Captain and Seeker. There isn\u2019t much more about him in that book. There\u2019s more of him in the Goblet of Fire. Cedric is an incredibly friendly, popular, good looking boy, who was awarded Perfect of Hufflepuff in his 5th year. Cedric is one of those people that can be friends with everybody, and impossible to hate.

first impression<\/b> In the 3rd book, I didn\u2019t think too much about him, since he didn\u2019t really play a huge part in it. But when he showed up in the 4th book and movie, I feel in love with his character. Not only was he all around nice, but he was gorgeous (Robert Pattinson = ♥ )

Why our relationship might work<\/b> Super friendly, impossible to hate, super cute, and outgoing. He\u2019s just so friendly\u2026 XD And he isn\u2019t shy at all. He\u2019s willing to help those that need it, and he is just like, perfect boyfriend material!

Why our relationship might not work<\/b> He\u2019s too nice, I think. To a fault, maybe. I dunno. He might not approve of some of my jokes and stuff. XD There isn\u2019t a lot about Cedric I can see being a problem. :D

Conclusion<\/b> I think that a relationship with Cedric would work out! He\u2019s lovely, and super friendly. And he\u2019s so interesting. Um\u2026 except for the whole being dead thing\u2026 yeah.

Yagami Raito (Light)<\/b>

character overview<\/b> A young man with a very flawed idea of justice. Starts out doing a great thing, gets carried away and loses his sanity. Raito is incredibly intelligent, too much for his own good even. He plots things so far in advance, and you almost forget where he started. He has to ability to keep \u201cjudging\u201d people, all the while keeping up the perfect model student fa\u00e7ade.

first impression<\/b> \u201cHe\u2019s too smart, way too smart. NO ONE IS THAT SMART.\u201d xD And then after he picked up the Death Note, I thought \u201chow can people be against what he\u2019s doing? He\u2019s doing the world a FAVOR.\u201d As Matsuda mentions, the crime rate went way down. HOW IS THAT BAD? But then he went psycho\u2026 xD

Why our relationship might work<\/b> Well\u2026 No one would screw with him. XD that\u2019s really all I got.

Why our relationship might not work<\/b> He\u2019s crazy. I\u2019d be afraid of getting on his bad side. That, and the whole God-complex would get really old, really fast.

Conclusion<\/b> I\u2019d feel secure that no one could hurt me when I\u2019m around Raito\u2026 but well\u2026 I\u2019d have to worry about HIM. XD. It wouldn\u2019t work.

first impression<\/b> I\u2019ll admit. When I first saw Kuja, I thought he was a woman. Once I found out otherwise, I screamed at my TV saying \u201cIT\u2019S NOT FAIR THAT THIS MAN HAS A BETTER BODY THAT I DO.\u201d xD It was quite amusing, really. But really, I loved the way he talked, His choice of words, his hand gestures. How he talks with his hands. I swear, he\u2019s one of those kinds of people who, if you handcuffed their hands behind their back, they wouldn\u2019t be able to talk XD

Why our relationship might work<\/b> Well. I adore Kuja, for one thing. I love his personality (to an extent) and his way of talking. I could listen to him for hours, and knowing him, he could talk for hours. He has a freakin tail, which also makes me go \u201caskdhjsa\u201d XD

Why our relationship might now work<\/b> He\u2019s psychotic. He would kill his own mother to achieve his own goals (hey, he killed Garland, who was like his father.) And his narcissism would wear on my nerves after a while.
