#3 - 300

300 is such an epic movie. I remember seeing it at the IMAX down in Denver. It was... almost too big of a screen for that movie. It was like sitting right in front of a tv, with your face pressed up against the screen. But even still, I really enjoyed it. Something about all those big Spartans, and their muscles... And lot of awesome fight scenes. And Xerxes. holy shit he looked awesome.

Part of the reason I like this movie so much is because it takes place in ancient times, and ancient civilizations fascinate me.

Unfortunately, I don't remember a lot about this movie, but I remember loving it. And catching the ending on FX not too long ago. And telling my sister we'd have to watch it sometime. And that still hasn't happened yet, oops.

And I need to go to bed. So this is short, sorry!

#2 - 21

Technically, this should have been #1, because, alphabetically, 21 comes before 28. Whatever!

I remember buying 21 when it first came out because I had missed my chance to see it in theaters. So I bought it and watched it... Sometime. I remember really enjoying it. The idea of counting cards is fascinating to me, because, omg how does that work??

The movie itself, I really liked it! I may be a bit biased because I love Jim Sturgess, but I thought the movie itself was genuinely good. I looooved the ending.

I was thinking of doing like, reviews for my blog posts, but I don't want to spoil my movies for someone that hasn't seen it, but I don't have much else to say, haha.

SO. I'll do a kind of vague review (for movies I actually remember, hehe).

Basically, a kid, Ben, who builds robots with his college friends says something smart in one of his classes and his teacher invites him to a club after school. Said club is really a club for smart people who count cards in Blackjack. They then go to Vegas and win tons of money (for which most is given to the teacher) on various weekends. Ben gets addicted to the money, glitz, and attention from girls (since he was a nerrrrrrd back at school) and makes a plan for them to go without the teacher and win all the money for themselves. He gets screwed over by the teacher, but he gets his in the end :)

I would recommend this movie, definitely!

#1 - 28 Days Later

Oh god, I haven't seen this movie in such a long time, probably since I was a sophomore in high school. I'm not one for zombie/undead/infection movies, so I remember being kind of hesitant to watch it, but I actually loved it. I thought it was really good. Kind of gross, but that's to be expected.

I don't even remember the characters. I don't remember much, actually. I remember the blood dripping in that dude's eye, and that's about it.

Wow, I started this off with a dud... XD
