Introduction to the HuBMAP Data Portal

The Human BioMolecular Atlas Program is working to catalyze the development of a framework for mapping healthy human tissue at single cell resolution. The HuBMAP Data Portal aims to share this multi-modal spatial and single cell data with the research community.

This hands-on workshop will provide a foundational overview of HuBMAP, including:

  • An introduction to the Anatomical Structures, Cell Types, and Biomarkers (ASCT+B) tables and the reference atlas generated from project data.
  • The kinds of data available through the Data Portal and how to search and discover datasets of interest by modality, assays and organs.
  • Using and interpreting the visualizations available through the Data Portal.
  • How to download data including how the project data is organized.
  • Analyzing data in-place using HuBMAP Workspaces.
