Gremlin Server⁠ provides a way to remotely execute Gremlin against one or more Apache TinkerPop-enabled⁠ graph instances hosted within it. Connect to Gremlin Server in a variety of different ways including:

• Gremlin Language Variants⁠ - when writing Gremlin in a native programming language like, Java, Python, .NET, and Javascript.
• Gremlin Console⁠ - when connecting to a remote server
• Drivers - when sending raw Gremlin scripts as strings to the server in language such as Java⁠, Python⁠ and others
• HTTP⁠

NOTE that versions suffixed with "-rc" are considered release candidates (i.e. pre-alpha, alpha, beta, etc.) and thus for early testing purposes only. Choosing to use "latest" or an "x.y" version will never represent an "-rc" version.
