Use docker run -itd --name=server -e PASSWORD=xxx -p 8080:8080 hugegraph/hugegraph to run the container & expose the network port (optional), then you could:

• try curl 0.0.0.0:8080 in your local machine to see if the server is running well (the port should be the same with your input upon)
• use docker exec -it graph bash to go into the container & see the logs
• refer doc to one-click create sample graph⁠ (or run docker with option -e PRELOAD="true")
• refer doc to enable-auth⁠ (or run docker with option -e PASSWORD=xxxxx)
• use docker ps -a to check the container status
• if you want to modify graph configs by yourself or start multi graphs or config user auth, enter the container and do the operations (refer [doc])(https://hugegraph.apache.org/docs/config/config-guide/#5-multi-graph-configuration⁠)
• Use Hubble⁠ image to explore the graph in web UI, and we also support starting them together by docker-compose⁠

⁠What is Apache HugeGraph?

HugeGraph⁠ is a fast-speed and highly-scalable graph database⁠. Billions of vertices and edges can be easily stored into and queried from HugeGraph due to its excellent OLTP ability. As compliance to Apache TinkerPop 3⁠ framework, various complicated graph queries can be accomplished through Gremlin⁠(a powerful graph traversal language).

⁠1. Docker Way (Convenient for Test)

We can use docker run -itd --name=server -e PASSWORD=xxx -p 8080:8080 hugegraph/hugegraph to quickly start an inner HugeGraph server with RocksDB (in backgrounds) for test/dev. You can visit the doc page⁠ or the README⁠ for more details.

Visit Download Page⁠ and refer to the doc⁠ to download the latest release package and start the server.

⁠3. Source Building Way

Visit the Source Building Page⁠ and follow the steps to build the source code and start the server.
