The Apache Solr Operator is a safe and easy way of managing a Solr ecosystem in Kubernetes. It is built using Kubebuilder, and follows the operator pattern for managing Custom Resources on Kubernetes

The Solr Operator is designed to support the official Apache Solr Docker image.
This project was started and open sourced in 2019 by Bloomberg. In 2021 maintainership was transferred to the Apache Solr project. All versions v0.3.0+ are released by the Apache Solr organization, and all previous versions were released by Bloomberg.
