Yes! You can enable WooCommerce integration in the Pro version to sell books directly. Even if you already have a WooCommerce store selling other products, you can still sell books separately without affecting your existing store setup. Books will not appear on default WooCommerce shop pages, but they will be fully integrated with the cart, checkout, and order system. Additionally, you can add downloadable book files, allowing customers to download them instantly after completing payment.

Really pathetic! As soon as I activated it, the plugin changed the default “Permalink Settings” on our live site and said that it did so to fix a 404 error!! Arrghhh
There’s a reason we set the Permalinks to what we wanted! BE CAREFUL when activating this or you could lose a lot of your SEO and get many 404 not found errors on your blogs

In the free version, there’s essentially nothing worth using. You can’t even add an Amazon tracking ID, and most of the features you’d expect are locked away. If you want a fully functional online bookstore, that privilege starts at $50 a year.

I wanted to use this for my author site, using my own books. Instead, at the start, the plugin invited me to use a quick start and pulled random religious books from Amazon, complete with publishing those pages and adding buy now buttons containing affiliate links which according to laws around the world should always be disclosed.
Never have I ever deactivated a plugin so quickly.

This is definitely not a plugin for book lovers and book bloggers.
After creating a book and checking the book page, it doesn’t open but seems to have a problem with another plugin (Easy Quotes). When the URL ends on book/dark-lover it switches to quote/dark-lover.
The self-created page “Books” by the plugin comes back with a critical failure on the website. So yeah, not useful at all.

I was searching for a WordPress theme for an author/writer website that would feature a single author and all of his books. Nothing that I had tried was coming close to what I was envisioning… until I discovered the Author Portfolio Pro theme from RS WP Themes. This was exactly what I was looking for! The theme includes everything an author site might need: multiple page and blog post layouts, almost countless customization options, and a state-of-the-art Book Showcase plugin that allows you to list all your books and feature them on the website in various ways. I was also impressed by the outstanding support provided by the theme and plugin developer, Abdullah Al Imran, who had two remote assistance sessions with me, helped me tweak the theme exactly to my liking, while being patient, polite, and professional. I would highly recommend this product and developer.

I spent a considerable amount of time searching for a book showcase plugin for my website, unbornmind.com. Recently, I discovered the impressive rs-wp-books-showcase plugin (Pro-Edition) created by Abdullah Al Imran. Although I faced some challenges in resolving a few bugs, Abdullah was quick to assist and rectify the issues. I have never experienced such prompt, patient, and dedicated support before. Now, everything appears to be functioning perfectly, and I am extremely grateful. I highly recommend this product!
