About Us

Steve is the former CEO of Brogden Enterprises, and a former Senior VP at QinetiQ North America (Westar Aerospace) where he was responsible for a $300 million aviation logistics management business. Steve is a retired U.S. Army officer where he was the Army’s Fixed Wing Program Manager and the chief of flight test at the Army’s Aviation Technical Test Center. He is a DoD certified acquisition professional and has an MS in Aeronautical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Post Graduate School and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from West Point.

Bill, a CPA, graduated from the Bentley University with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy. His career
started as a cost accountant at Texas Instruments in Houston. He then moved to Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC) where he led audits for several public and non-public entities. His industry experience includes manufacturing, private equity, financial services, consumer goods. After leaving Coopers, Bill moved to the Stanley Works where he spent time as an Internal Auditor before moving to the corporate accounting group where he supervised financial reporting. Next, Bill moved to Rexam PLC and had multiple roles leading to VP of Finance for a major international division. After Rexam, Bill has spent the past 25 years as a CFO for multiple capital equipment manufacturing companies. Most recently he was the CFO of an environmental equipment supplier which provided equipment to the construction industry. In this role, he handled all treasury, reporting and was responsible for three entities located in Brazil, UAE, and Canada.

Steve’s career establishes a 13+ year background of assisting technology and manufacturing companies grow and deliver.  Steve started with Hoverfly in Supply Chain and specifically focused on structuring a strong American base filled with some of the best partners available.  From the time he joined, he was able to interact with all departments and truly understand the flow and needs of Hoverfly.  He found, staffed, and established Hoverfly’s Missouri facility, responsible for testing and delivering our most prolific offering (Sentry).  Most recently, he’s led the Operations department as Vice President.  Steve received a B.S. degree in accounting from Maryville University.

Dan is a founder of Hoverfly and has led the architecture and development of products ranging from embedded controllers to large scale data analytics. He was previously the Director of Technology at the Center for Law Enforcement Technology, Training and Research as well as a Research Associate at the Institute for Security, Technology and Society at Dartmouth College. Dan has designed and led the development of several applications providing information analytics and security for public safety and critical infrastructure protection.

Bruce was formerly an independent consultant in the aerospace industry and a Business Development representative for PCX AeroSystems. He was the Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at CAE USA Military Simulation & Training company from 2016-2021, where he was responsible for expanding the company’s military sales and generating long-term revenue for the company through the application of innovative business initiatives. Prior to this position, Bruce was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Pacific Contours Corporation in Anaheim, California and was an independent advisor and program management consultant for DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) and the USATRADOC (United States Army Training and Doctrine Command). Bruce is a former Special Operations Master Army Aviator and a Department of Defense Level III certified program manager. During his military career, Bruce served in both the enlisted and officer ranks. his assignments included tours with the 160^th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), the 82^nd Airborne, the Ft. Eustis based Technology Applications Program Office, and the United States Special Operations Command. He received his baccalaureate from Northern Illinois University and his master’s degree in business from the University of LaVerne. Bruce also studied leadership at George Washington University and the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.

Gerri’s career spans 25+ years in management, operations and sales in a variety of technical industries and corporate settings. She was a former Executive Administrator of FAZ Technology and a Major Account Manager for Verizon Information Services. She held two successive positions at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, first as Administrator of the Liver Research Center and later as Administrator of the Division of Cardiology. At Hoverfly, Gerri has built a strong team and manages all F&A operations. She collaborates with leadership on company policies and contributes to the development of our world-class team. Gerri received a B.S. degree in Health Care Administration and completed some master’s coursework at Iona College in NY.

Jeffrey is a technical visionary with over 25 years of engineering design and leadership experience. He was the former VP of Engineering at Orion Technologies where he built and led an engineering team to design high speed backplanes, complicated single board computers, and rugged computer systems for various military customers. This experience also included hardening the quality processes to gain AS9100 quality certification for the company. Jeffrey holds degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.

John was former Director of Defense Systems at CyPhy Works, where he helped evolve tethered drone capabilities in 2018. He retired in 2017 from twenty-seven years of naval service as the Special Warfare Operator Master Chief in an Experimental Squadron. John attended the University of Charleston, West Virginia, holds a Federal Aviation Administration, Part 107 Drone License, and has completed other Department of Defense and Federal Government qualifications.
