Reminder: Building Access & Late-Night Entry
To keep our residential communities safe, please remember these key access guidelines:
- Always carry your Redbird ID and room key(s). You’ll need them to enter your building and confirm residency. UHS staff can and may ask for both to confirm you live in the building.
- Arriving between 12 a.m.-6 a.m. without your ID or key will result in a Limited Access Violation. Staff will verify your residence and let you in.
- 1st violation: warning
- 2nd: second warning
- 3rd or more: conduct case
- Lost or missing keys: Spare key checkouts are separate and may incur fees after the third checkout. Five or more result in a conduct violation. Lost keys may require a billed core change, especially after hours.

Spring Break
- Watterson, Wright, and Haynie close and reopen at the following times:
- Saturday, March 7 | Halls close at 2 p.m.
- Sunday, March 15 | Halls reopen at 2 p.m.
Move Out
- Saturday, May 9 | All halls and on-campus apartments close for the summer at 2 p.m.
