| Instructions for translators | If you are not familiar with the app yet, I would recommend to try it out on https://facilmap.org/ and to read through the user documentation to get an overview over the user interface and terminology before starting with the translation. If you have any questions, a good place to ask is the Matrix chat and the GitHub Discussions. If you find any mistakes or problems in the source texts, feel free to open a GitHub issue. The translations are split up into different modules matching their appearance in the code. However, the translated strings from all modules are presented to the user, not just the ones from the frontend, so all modules need to be translated (apart from the glossary). The glossary is meant just for translators, there are explanations for different terms that appear throughout the app. Translating it may help you the be reminded of the terminology that you choose in your language to keep it consistent throughout the app. Translation updates are manually applied to the app regularly (ideally at least every few days). |
