Second, I'm going to simplify and slow the pace of the community down a bit for this case. Most of the challenges will probably be a bit more straightforward than they may have been in the past.

- there will be 1 long term challenge running at a time, lasting a month
- fic and graphics challenges will run for two weeks, new challenges will be posted each Sunday (and I will try to alternate harder and easier challenges)
- brainwork games\/puzzles will last one week, new challenges will be posted each Wednesday

We are a \"land\" community for the BBC's television show Sherlock<\/i>.

We offer a wide variety of activities, challenges, games, and contests. Our members participate in these opportunities to earn points for their team. The teams compete in a friendly fashion to \u201csolve the case\u201d. Each week, there will be several different challenges that you can enter, including, but not limited to, fanfiction, graphics, and puzzles. We also have an emphasis on fun and social interaction.

You will receive points for participating in activities; different challenges may earn different numbers of points. Points are allocated at the end of each challenge. Some challenges may also offer the opportunity to earn extra points through voting or some other means.

Right now, we have two teams: Team Logic and Team Passion.

Our competition rounds are called \"cases\". Each case lasts 2 months. At the end of each case, the team with the most points is declared the winner that \"solved the case\", and the points reset.
