Endor Scatter Terrain

After my work on the gigant endor trees I desided to make some scatter terrain for my endor gameboard!

First I cut out three bases from oil hardend board.

Found some right size rocks and spray them uniform grey!

Applied grey pumice to the bases.

Painted the bases with Game color Tierra Earth.

Washed the bases with Vallejo Lavando sepia.

After the spray I highlighted the rocks with a mix of Administratum grey and Ceramite White.

Highlighted the bases with the same Tierra Earth.

Glue the rocks on to the bases.

Some flock and some plastic plants added.

Hope this little tutorial can be useful to some of you :)

Large Endor Tree´s Part 2

Here is the next part of my endor tree´s build!

After 3 washes of woodland scenics: burnt umber 50:50 mix with water.
I made the last wash with woodland scenics raw umber 50:50 mix with water.

The tree after the last wash!

I dry brushed the bottom of the tree with castellan green and loren forest!

Then I used agrellan badlands texture paint on the base.
After that I just used flock and some grass turfs!

Large Endor Tree´s Part 1.

Hello again!

As I said in my last post I am going to try to make some nice terrain for the upcoming Star Wars Legion Miniature game!

I was really inspired by the first Youtube video of the Star Wars Legion miniatures game that was shown from the Gencon 50 convent a few weeks back.

In this post I will try to show you how I made my Large Endor tree´s.

I started by first cuting out 5cm x 5cm thick strips of insulation foam.

Then I cut out 9.5cm across round bases from oil hardened board.

Then I drilled holes in them for large flower stick to fit.

Then I cut the foam in 3 pieces and pushed them on to the flower sticks.

I used wood glue to glue the foam.

I cut away as much as I could of the foam, then I used a sander!

The sanded foam ready for hobby paint.

The paint is for the next stepp so the foam does not melt from the super glue I used!

Then I glued nylon rope to the foam.

Darth Vader looks on as I work :)

Then I put on some air drying hobby clay onto the nylon rope.

After the clay has dried I apply some toilet paper with a 50:50 mix of wood glue and water.
I first brush the tree with the glue mix and then apply the paper, then I apply more onto the paper to
make the paper wrinkled and stick better to the tree.

The first tree´s after the first wash of woodland scenics: burnt umber 50:50 mix with water.

Hope you all like my lite tutorial so far!

Hershel´s Farm Fence Tutorial

Hi Again.

Its time now to show you all how I made my fences to my little farm project!

First you need a sheet of balsa wood and some round flower sticks.
A sharp knife and a ruler and a pen.

I then cut the balsa wood in many 13x2 cm strips
Then I sand down the long 13 cm edges of the balsa wood.

Then I take some coffie stirrer and cut them down to 13 cm.
I then cut the flower stick in 2.5 cm short sticks.

I use super glue to first glue the flower sticks 2 cm from the edge of the balsa Wood.
Then I just glue the coffie stirrer to the flower sticks.

I use a army painter uniform grey spray to paint the fence and then a brown hobby paint to paint the edges of the base.

The last step is to use some wood glue to glue down some nice static grass flock.

I hope this little tutorial has been useful to watch!

Highway

I have had alot to do this summer but I have manage to build two strips of  highway to my zombie campagn.
And later in the campagn if the survivors manage to stay alive I have planned that they will leave the city to seek shelter in the countryside.

Refuse Bins

Early this summer I made one more order from TT Combat City Scenics for some more laser cut MDF Buildings and terrain.
I am trying hard to paint and build more buildings to my Dawn of Z Campagn!
This time I will show you how my Refuse Bins turned out!

I will later try to put some stuff in the refuse bin to make them look better but this is how they look now.

At the moment I´m painting on a TT Combat Gas Station, and a Police Station.
