Responsible for in the Anglo-Saxon area of the foreign/import office, dealing with the following:

 

 

 

 

1. Cooperation with sales staff for order management (order initiation, receipt

    of order confirmations, reminders of confirmations as well as arrival of

    goods, continuous contacts with suppliers during dispatch).

2.    File management (file creation, pro-forma invoice control, invoice registration to accounts, insurance file compilation, paperwork for customs clearance, paperwork related to damages and shortages, receipt of warehouse load for the file, managements of credits, expense notes and end-of-year bonuses, final document control, expense calculation and closure).

3.    Import management (shipment dimensions, contacts with forwarding agents, evaluation of quotes, communication with supplier, stock where applicable, goods entry with warehouse contact.

4.    Management of intra-EU and extra-EU licenses (requesting documentation from supplier, requesting prior agreements and temporary certification with return, at the police headquarters).

5.    Payments: monitor due dates of various suppliers and weekly – in coordination with colleagues in the import department – submit a list of payments due to CFO and carry out effecting of payments.

6.    Assistance in the recovery of foreign clients’ debts.

7.    Sending instruments for repair in the US and customs paperwork for return.

 

Proofreading for the marketing department: catalogs, logos, and instructions manuals.

 

Business writing proofreading: regular review of management’s corporate correspondence in English.
