I've annoyed the people in my life for years with my unsolicited corrections of their mistakes—the use of "your" instead of "you're," the preposterous choice of "defiantly" when they really mean "definitely," and the mind-boggling habit of pluralizing words using apostrophes. Now, I might still annoy people, but I figure it's a better deal for everyone if I do it professionally instead of just in a comment on an Instagram post.
