Certified Proofreader Overview

I’d love to be considered for your proofreading project. So that we’re on the same page, I am a new proofreader, but I’m not new to proofreading. I’ve had a professional career of over forty years, and I’ll apply to your projects everything I’ve learned from editing and proofreading thousands of documents. I guarantee I won’t let you down.

My career so far includes public service (20-year Air Force veteran) and private businesses ranging from multinational corporations down to small businesses and startups. Here’s a quick summary of my background.

• I have an MBA, PMP certification, and have held several senior management positions.
• I’ve written, edited, and proofread a multitude of business documents, and I’m usually recognized as the go-to person for such work.
• I’ve completed specialized proofreader training, so I’m very familiar with what goes into proofreading your project.

At this stage in my career, I’m ready to scale back on the stress and pressure that is inherent in the senior-level positions I most recently held and focus my energies on doing something I’ve always enjoyed and have always excelled at: proofreading.
