As the Boolean intersection of two circles produces the familiar vesica piscis pattern, so likewise the intersection of two spheres in space gives us the lens-shaped saucer of contemporary mythos — “a lenticular image of a distant time and place” in Terence McKenna’s words. Is the saucerian object a hyperdimensional manifestation of the oversoul of humanity, here to usher in a new hexagonal dispensation as we ascend to the stars?

An interesting cellular automaton in a ten-step loop. Discussed in greater depth on Twitter but the upshot is this rule almost always falls into a ten-step loop eventually. Though one time, randomly, it was a 728 step loop. Not sure what the deal was with that. This is the first such loop I found at any rate, and I find it pleasing in its bilateral, chiral symmetry.
