People who use MEGA can create file requests to collect files from anyone, even from those who don’t have a MEGA account. If you’ve received a file request link, you can upload files easily by following these steps.
Uploading to a file request
- Open the file request link in your browser.
- Drag and drop the files you want to upload into the large rectangle with a dotted outline. You can also click Browse to upload to select files manually.
- Wait until you see Uploaded on the far right of a file’s name to make sure that the file was uploaded successfully.
- Click +Add more on the lower left to upload more files. (Optional)
What can I upload?
- You can upload files of any file type.
- You can’t upload folders.
- You can upload a file with the same name multiple times. However, earlier versions won’t replaced; the person who created the file request will receive all the copies you uploaded.
Who sees the files I’ve uploaded?
Only the person who created the file request can see and access the uploaded files, unless they choose to share them with others.
Note
You can’t edit uploaded files, so check your file carefully before uploading it.
