thank you to all who bid on our auctions. its been great to see the interest generated and the people who have supported us :D

now it's time for people who offered items to contact their winning bidders and make arrangements on how those items will be delivered.

I'm sorry I have been a pretty absent mod for most of the auctions, my only excuse is that I got a letter 2 days before Xmas from the real estate that handles my home that told me that the owners weren't renewing the lease so from the 4th Jan onward (when the real estate agents reopened till now) i have been searching for somewhere to move to. Well my lease runs out Tuesday and I still don't have a house to move into...so i have been frantically trying to get someone to approve us. If anyone has an 'in' with the 'powers that be', I'd be eternally grateful if you could have a word with them in my favor for me :D

The bids for our current items on offer will close at 11.59pm AEDT on Thursday 27th January. For anyone wondering what time that will be in your timezone you can check it out HERE. Due to the converter not having the option to select '59'mins as an option, the time is listed on the converter shows 11.55pm. Please note that the auction will close at 11.59 and not 11.55 . This is just a guide so that you can estimate when the bidding ends wherever in the world you live.

I'm only just realising that I didn't give a definite date for the auction to close, so to make it official we'll close the bids for this run of the auction on Thursday 27th January. Any suggestions as to what time to close so that its fair to all is gratefully appreciated.

If there is more interest or anyone else wanting to join in on another round we might give it another round a few days after that. If anyone has a question on anything they are bidding on feel free to ask the person you are bidding on and if they can't answer i can try to answer it here.

I'll leave the bids open for a week to give us time to garner interest, then we'll close bids and the winner for each item will be notified . If anyone thinks we should leave the bids open longer just let me know.

Please help if you can, Our state is overwhelmed, and although the news in the states (on one broadcast I saw) made it out to sound like we were very remote (and even though it started out in the rural cities,) its now compounded exponentially and is devastating Brisbane ...and even heading down to the southern states, they are even saying we might end up with 5 states in flood...something I cant even envision.
Our state capital has water flooding the central business district...boats in the streets...

I created this site so that hopefully I can get enough fandom (and others) people to join so that we can raise money to help the flood victims of Queensland Australia.

So far we have an are the size of France and Germany combined under water...or for those in the US the size of TEXAS. Many are still to feel the effects, and it seems that its only to get worse as the water continues down through New South Wales and eventually Victoria.

Please if there is anything you can do, offers of fic, art, craft or even a plain old offer of help please post here.
