Pilot Program

The Pilot Program is for anyone who cares about assistive technology and its role in bettering society.

There are many ways to participate.

Everyone

Sign up for our newsletter and stay up to date on progress towards our assistive mission.

Users & Care Partners

We’d love to understand how Stretch may benefit you, whether that’s gaining independence in daily activities or increasing participation in your community.

Connect with our team and share your story. You may be eligible to collaborate with us in one of two ways:

  • Remote Testing: Select individuals and care partners will be invited to remotely test-pilot Stretch to discover the kinds of tasks you want accomplish.

  • In-Home Use: A small number of individuals will be invited to join a deeply collaborative process where our engineering staff and occupational therapist will bring Stretch to your home for you to explore. In a co-design process, we will develop and refine Stretch’s capabilities to perform the meaningful activities you care about.

Organizations

We’re looking to partner with companies and organizations in the community that are excited to explore how Stretch can advance your mission and empower your clients.

Interested in Joining the Pilot?

All are welcome. Register your interest and tell us your story.

STRETCH IN REAL LIFE

People Stories

A happy outdoor selfie of two people smiling, including one person in a power wheelchair and another person with curly gray hair, against a backdrop of a Chinese Fir tree.

People Stories / Georgena and Sharon

Once, when I was following Vinitha and V’s instructions on where and when to go, there was a moment that truly took my breath away. I was told to do a 180° turn. When I did, Sharon and I were stunned by our surroundings.

People Stories / Keith

Before Stretch, my challenges were everything. I don’t have use of any part of my body other than my neck, head, and limited use of my shoulders. Anything that I can regain independence with is a huge win, and I look to Stretch for that.

People Stories / Henry and Jane

I am amazed at how nimble and flexible Stretch is, particularly given how unassuming it appears at first glance. Perhaps most importantly, it has changed my personal connections. It was astounding to see the immediate change in my toddler granddaughter’s attitude towards me when I used Stretch to play with her.
