Cinema Paradiso is a recital celebrating the art of film music, featuring performances by current and past recipients of the Athena Scholarship for emerging Greek musicians. *The event has been cancelled* A new work by composer Costas Kafouros blending ancient Greek poetry with modern sound. Performed by world-class musicians Sarah Dacey (vocals), Rami Sarieddine (piano), Mariana Parás (bassoon) and Beibei Wang (percussion), the piece explores timeless themes and the enduring dialogue between past and present.

Join us for the book launch and discussion on the book Kalamoti: A Medieval Village of Chios. Kalamoti combines architecture with history, highlighting current issues surrounding the preservation of cultural heritage. The Panayotis & Effie Michelis Foundation has entrusted Kalamoti’s representation to the architect and photographer Yiorgis Yerolymbos, whose images reveal the harmony between landscape, architecture, and the people who inhabit them. There will be a discussion will be between Yiorgis Yerolymbos, political scientist Stathis Kalyvas and Professor Roman Gerodimos.

To mark Cyprus’ Presidency of the Council of the European Union (January – June 2026), the A. G. Leventis Gallery presents George Pol. Georghiou – Timeless Cyprus at the Hellenic Centre. Following its acclaimed debut in Nicosia, this exhibition brings together the most extensive selection of Georghiou’s works ever shown abroad. Curated by Loukia Loizou Hadjigavriel and Katerina Stephanides.

Join the book launch and discussion on Athens Tales, an anthology of one hundred and fifty years of Greek short fiction about Athens, compiled and translated into English by Joshua Barley. The evening will include an illustrated presentation of the book by the translator, and an accompanying performance of Athenian songs by mezzo-soprano Alexandra Achillea.
