It was used in one of the ads for WALL-E. It's from the early 80s. Beta thanks: hllangel Watch it at: YouTube
Spoilers: For all episodes of the BBC Sherlock. BE WARNED.
What the hell were you thinking? Well, there was this this gif on Tumblr which emmagrant01 reblogged and of course the song popped into my head, instantly matched with specific clips from 2.03, and I had to get it out of my head because, really, do you want Jim Moriarty living in your head?
Summary: Do you know the song? Okay, then! That's the summary! :D
My flist amused me greatly yesterday - every other post was a review of SPN 4.10 or of Twlight - or sometimes both in the same post. God, I love "review" days.
Small favour to ask - is anyone creative enough to do something with the text in this icon (from S3 DW) and make it pink-ified and in a different font? I'm not really sure what I want - I actually don't even mind *this* font - but I really don't love the colors and I love the text, so please?
In other news, this is just badwrong but if anyone sees one up in a give-away, please let me know.
ETA re Beedle the Bard: If you're going to buy it in a Barnes & Noble on December 4 or any time the week after, please print this voucher and hand it in along with your purchase, and a percentage of your purchase will go to HPEF to help underwrite costs for Azkatraz and Infinitus. There's more information here.
Title:Titanic Days (aka My Heart Will Go On: The Re-Soundtracking) Song by: Screaming Jets (covering Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On) Rating: PG-15 Pairing: Dean/Anna Spoilers for 4.09 and 4.10 Summary: Anna's existence is about to change forever, but she'll keep her memories of Dean Winchester in her heart as long as she can.
Notes: Yes, this is definitely from the crackiest portion of my brain - but really, the lyrics match up insanely well! A million lights dancing, you're here with me eternally, a place where nobody dared to go!
The Morton House is Xanadu!
I seriously considered using the Jeff Lynne version - because Dean probably at least respects Lynne for the work he did with Petty and the Wilburys, etc., but I figured if I was going for crack to any degree, I should crack out with it completely.
This is for bekkio, who's had a bad day, and cedarlibrarian, who told me I was completely barmy but was supportive anyway. And it's ok - she was right.
I know there's been an influx of vid posting here recently - but it's completely eaten my brain the way it did back in college when I worked in the school tv station and edited vids for things like Spring Fling and various college performing arts groups on 3/4 inch tape and made credits on an Amiga.
And you know what happens when something eats your brain?
Unnamed sources close to Eric Kripke have revealed that the opening song montage finale for the truncated Season Three will not feature "Carry On Wayward Son", as in the previous two seasons. Instead the montage will be set to "Livin' la Vida Loca" by Ricky Martin.
It was tagged "this is a joke" (ALAS!) and cathybites wondered:
Is it wrong that I really really REALLY kind of want that?
I asked if that was a vid request, Cathy said yes, especially for the Shrek version, Missy concurred and juice817 gave me the song, which I unfortunately did not already own.
And I put together this. Total crack, and a counterpoint for my recent angstvidding.
I followed you on DW, but I'm staying on LJ. There's a sticky post on my DW with a feed for folks over there who want to see my posts. On my end of things, I'm reading my friends list in both places,…
