Heroku add-on migration

Maintenance

On July 3, 2023, Heroku began shutting down the legacy API that supports the CodeShip Heroku add-on. On September 5, 2023, Heroku will completely shutdown the integration and your CodeShip builds will no longer run.

To keep your CodeShip builds running, you need to migrate your projects to a standard CodeShip account. Please contact us and we can assist with the migration.

This change only applies to customers using the CodeShip Heroku add-on. All other CodeShip accounts will continue to operate normally.

Ubuntu 20.04 available for CodeShip Basic

Enhancement

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Focal Fossa) build containers are now available for CodeShip Basic.

On April 10, 2023 projects will automatically start running on Focal. This will be a progressive rollout over several weeks. All projects need to be migrated to Focal by May 19, 2023.

Read more about the change and rollout. For migration assistance please contact [email protected].

End of free builds for CodeShip

Maintenance

As of March 1, 2023, the free plan for CodeShip will no longer be available. At that time, CloudBees will remove all free organizations within paid accounts and remove all users who only have free organizations.

To learn how to migrate projects from your free account to your paid account, or to answer other common questions, visit the FAQs.

If you have any questions not addressed in the FAQs, please contact us at [email protected].

CodeShip design tweaks

Enhancement

We are updating the CodeShip design in the coming weeks with both big and small changes - but nothing that will break any current navigation patterns.

You will see fonts and colors adjust slightly, as well as spacing - starting today! We are also refreshing our top navigation and many of our list views — but not reworking the overall UX just yet.

These changes are for a cleaner, easier-to-read CodeShip experience. Please reach out with any feedback!
