Particularly, in the current era of science and technology revolution 4.0, this is a key force making a great contribution to the country's development orientation in the future. Through five typical cases of activity among youth, students and young intellectuals in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the article focuses on analyzing four main groups of roles of young intellectuals in Hanoi and HCMC in the field of history, including: gathering a large force of young intellectuals and students under the banner of a common and noble ideal for the stability, peace and development of the country, preserve, promoting and arousing a sense of pride in the precious historical traditions of the nation, creating favorable conditions for young students particularly and all walks of life generally to continue the historical careers of previous generations while training and cultivating their own living capital and aiming at entertainment destination, research - develop and strengthen cooperation programs using high technology to promote solving problems of sustainable community development related to economy - history - culture.

Using quantitative methods with performance and stratified sampling techniques with a total number of participating students is 265. As a result, the highest demand is for information about training facilities (M=4.22); Next is the need to understand the industry/profession and the professional world (M=4.06); Finally, there is the need for support for students to be aware of themselves (M=3.93). Schools can use these findings to build and develop appropriate policies and programs for students.

To become a professional social worker, especially in the field of promoting change and developme... more To become a professional social worker, especially in the field of promoting change and development for the community, students need to have certain professional knowledge. Besides, practical exposure is also an important factor to form future career skills. With the Community Service-Learning model, Social Work majors at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City have had the opportunity to apply learned specialized theories in practice. Consequently, they can develop a basic skill of a facilitator, which is to write a proposal for a community development project to address the challenges faced by the community. On the contrary, the community also receives professional support from students majoring in Social Work to get useful solutions to existing problems.
