HB Studios design and make bespoke handcrafted pieces of furniture and sculpture from our studios and workshop in Wincanton, Somerset.

The company was formed in 2016 by designer and maker Patrick Bateman and his partner Charlotte Hanbury. Patrick’s creative skills alongside Charlotte’s production background made the perfect foundation to form HB Studios.

Who We Are

Patrick’s love of Japanese and Scandinavian design can be seen throughout his work. All our pieces are designed by us, with influences taken from many different mediums across both art and furniture design.

How We Work

We are fortunate to live in south Somerset surrounded by thousands of acres of stunning managed woodland. We love searching for and sourcing choice local materials for all of our projects and have built up a strong network of local sawmills and suppliers. Every one of HB Studios’ designs are as individual as our clients and the natural materials we use.
