Apologies for not being around AGAIN. UGH. Life happened.
Anyway... Mom visited this weekend! :) Had a good time.
Robin and I are planning a baby shower for Erin. Guess who says they are coming...? Brian. *sigh* Really. He's not speaking to his mother so why is he going to show up? Just to put the spotlight on himself again? *deep breath* I'm too stressed by everything else in my life right now to deal with his bullshit.
Seriously.
Today I had about 6 projects dumped on my desk. And all are needed before I go on vacation. In 6 days. O.O It's really not my fault that IT is 2 1/2 months behind on their build for our new LIS. IT's not. It's THEIR fault for not replacing their specialist who was out on a medical for 2 months. But now they are being snarky with me over it?
My boss is still an ass. :P He's still going to tear this place apart. And NONE OF THEM have the slightest idea of what we do or how we do it. They don't understand the nuances of a small rural lab with a LARGE outreach program. It's infuriating that I have to explain things over and over again to these people.
That said. I'm snowed in. At work. LOL I'm getting a TON of work done, though. :P I just went and got a cot and some bedding. I think it's nearly time to stop working. 13 hours is enough. My eyes are crossing. ;) I may do a little more on the one HUGE project, though. I really need to make some more headway on it. As it is I will probably be here all day on Sunday to get on top of things as well.
Ah well... 6 more days until my vacation starts and 10 more until the ship sails. :) I can do this.

Tomorrow is FRIDAY!! And I will have 2 days to myself. To do nothing that I don't want to do. I've been letting things get to me a little bit again so I'm going to use this time to RELAX. :) I'm looking forward to it.
Melissa goes back to the doctor tomorrow. Hopefully things will still be fine. *fingers crossed*
Work has been busy. I'm caught up with almost everything. Almost. I have one report that I keep putting off. No one is going to ask for it but it's something that has to be in place for whenever an inspector walks in. The first time that will happen will most likely be MAY -- but it needs to be done now. *sigh*
Pumpkin is laying half on my arm and half on the keyboard right now. Makes typing loads of fun! :P
I'm tired. *yawn*
My stupid nephew called me yesterday. Did I already say that? I honestly don't remember! O.o Oh well... he wanted to "apologize" for not talking with me. What? Since I told him he was being an ass? Huh. :P So he's home with Melissa again and seems excited about the baby. Really. I hope he keeps his shit together. I'd hate for Bobby to have to go through what Brian did growing up. Mom can't raise another kid.

I have Coxsackie virus as I said before. The blisters keep erupting. :( I also have HGA, better known as Ehrlichiosis. This is my 3rd time dealing with this and I am MUCH sicker. The doc I had to talk with on Friday (a different one from the one I saw on Thursday... damn my doc for being on vacation when I need him! : P ) gave me antibiotics (which will make me very sensitive to the sun) and told me he thinks I probably have Lyme on top of all this. *bangs head* I will know more Monday.
I hurt when I move. And when I dont. This sucks... but I'm determined to have a good vacation.
